Well... monster is right. The only thing they did notthrow in is a touchscreen that is big enough.
imma put it my way..
different phones are coming so all are Unique for different market niches, all are 'Unique' none perfect, so il make it easier for people to understand;)
SE C905 - SE's Flagship Camera Phone with probably the Best 8MP that we dont know yet, Platform - J2ME Java
Samsung i8510 - Multimedia Powerhouse with most of features of the Range an All-Rounder with good features
Samsung i900 Omnia - iPhone and HTC Diamond competitor, in a totallay different market niche all toghether dont compare with i8510 and C905
Nokia 8MP the Next N-Series - Multimedia Powerhouse Most Likely, 8MP with features probably less or more then i8510 but still will be in the 8MP Race
every phone has a different market niche, so dont compare e.g. C905 with i8510 or the Next Nokia..
only compare them in Camera or Music Playback
everything else will be totally different e.g. Platform of use
C905 - Java
i8510 - Symbian
Nokia's 8MP - Symbian
i900 Omnia - Windows Mobile
iPhone - Mac OSX
HTC - Windows Mobile
Xperia X1 - Windows Mobile
the 2 Big Dogs coming are i900 Omnia and Xperia X1 there the ones which will dominate the High-End markets, i8510 and C905 for normal standard users.
The two things that could make this the perfect multi-media phone are:
1. VGA glass screen display and high resolution like the Touch Diamond's.
2. 3.2 screen display.
Why are they sticking with QVGA? My gosh, with all its wonderful camera features & specs on photos and videos, and the internet. This phone deserves the BEST screen display that can ever be produced on a phone. Why freakin' hold back. Geeezzzz. What good are all those impressive features when it's going to be viewed on a low level quality QVGA screen. It's like putting in all the high end internal qualities & technology of a BMW 7 series or a Mercedes S class into a Hyunda Elantra, lol.
tehno man, 13 Jul 2008c905 is just a java platform phone with average video quality
for everone all standart se pho... moreC905 HAS vga@30fps video record....and it CAN playback VGA video.
100% confirmed and video samples are out.
but as you say it's a feature phone and can not be compared with such a monster.
Passing judgment on a product even before the experts could lay their hands on them, simply amplifies total ignorance and an intractable posture of the commentator. These comments are irrelevant and would do no good to any other than exposing the commentator’s hidden agenda. I simply cannot understand the hype created for a particular brand of a handset that has been in the market for quite some time. It is true that they produced some excellent phones in the past. Nonetheless there are worthy competitors in the market now such as Samsung, HTC & Sony Ericson which are far superior in design and performance. Hence my impassionate appeal to the so called pundits is that please do not comment for the sake of commenting. Unqualified annotations may be treated as verbal diarrhea.
5.1 surround is possible only if the connected device can decode it properly. I like the forward thinking...
i just dont get it how can any1 compare dis phon wit xperia x1? even omnia beat d hell out of dat phone!dat phon is 3 mp;omnia is 5;omnia has 8/16 gb memory built in xperia has very low!both of dem uses wm 6.1;but omnia has accelerometer, its screen size & color is better;though lacking d resolution;omnia also has divx;it also has tv out!
the battery might b a drawback fr Omnia;but oder dan dat omnia itself beats d hell out of ne cell phones!left alone worthless iphone 3g!(if some1 wants to buy dat phone for music nd video playing capacity den buy ipod touch instead!dis phone cant even record video!what a piece of junk!)
samsung took over d market wit Omnia! and now dis phone is gona consolidate their lead over nokia!
writing d last line was d hardest for me to do as being a hardcore nokia fan!i dont know what dey are doing?have dey gone sleeping in finland?
c905 is just a java platform phone with average video quality
for everone all standart se phones has AOT stardart 220Mz proc
it cant even show VGA video...
this phone has symbian but you cant install many programs on it
my friend has i550 and its not compatible with standart os 9.2 programss and games so you cant do many things on it.
oh, it uses VN Mobifone!!!!!!!!! This is the telephone servicer in Vietnam.
samsung had made them a serious addtion to face Sonys 8mpx but i guess samsung is gonna slash out SE with the symbian there r going to use with this fone ,but Nokia N96 is dafinately will be cup holder in this battle cant be beat the monster logo N series , but camera wise lest hope C905 will not be another a k850 i which carry some major drawbacks headset itself that is vary mach a strange behavior of SE. lets c who s gonna win the 8mpx competition.
wow samsung have it sussed. a nice shiney new 8 meg ccd cam phone. so that means fingers crossed LG wont to far behind on that front.
well done samsung.
heh c905 could barely stand against n95
this primera phone will kill c905...sad to say but to match this monster sony needs to get xperia out soon!!!
well samsung.s 10 megapixel was reportedly crappy
so I think this thing is going to make the 10 megapixel(b600) just a thing of the past heheheh
More then N96 ? with just 8mp versus 5 ?
Ah thanks, for me NOKIA N96 is best!
Easy to use with super features as N-GAGE, OVI, and double slide for an easy use for films and musics!
Samsung always be the follower. Which is the Samsung's phone that become a trendsetter? See? Ultra edition, RAZR's follower. LiveLoud (i450), fighting walkmans series. And what's again? Fighting the Cyber-Shot n Nseries? And samsung aren't that independent. They likes to use diff OS n browser to control their phones. The only Samsung's trendsetter phone is just the 2ON phones
Anyway, that's how Samsung try to be a market leader. Being so agressive

It's mean i8510 Primera can play DivX or Xvid video format without 3rd party application. Like Samsung F500, Samsung i900 Omnia or LG KU990 Viewty also has DivX certified.
