Optical image stabilization - a first for a smartphone ?!
Samsung SCH-B600, year 2006, Korean market only !
These comments start to get so funny. .hahaha. .why drag Canon/Nikon here? The news is about a phone having a larger sensor with a 'CODENAME' as 'EOS'. .take note! CODENAME. . This is GSMArena not DPReview. :D

News to me .. can you show me some confirmed evidence?
"So now they are competing with Nikon & Canon companies! Godluck Nokia!"
That's not true at all, in any case, Nokia is the world's largest manufacturer of digital cameras.
for the first time in 10 years the best cameraphone on the market Will not be running symbian. This phone Will finally kill the Os.
nokia lumia 1001 it was announced long back.

What is nokia doing? Oh! right nokia's phone business has run bankrupt! So now they are competing with Nikon & Canon companies! Godluck Nokia!
18Mp camera is already more than enough for pro. I dont understand why there's a need for 41Mp.
I believe Nokia should be competing with Cannon & Samsung Camera division.... and say goodbye to the mobile phones business.... poor Nokia with the dummiest ceo on planet earth.. elop
Better change the name, though. Canon lawyers might have something to say about calling a camera (or a phone that will probably be sold on the strength of its camera) "EOS".
among the first smartphone with real optical image sensor is Nokia N93 and N93i
may i know how long the shutter time after we snap a pic? since i think 41mp is too big.
how long does it take in nokia808?
