Woohoo, 09 Jul 2022How about Netflix first get their act around proper HDR support on phones!? So many phones hav... moreHDR would be great, but I would settle for Netflix getting rid of their compression artifacts.
I have 400Mbps real world performance to their local data center according to fast.com. So why am I seeing compression artifacts on a Galaxy S9+? Google TV doesn't have compression artifacts.
Woohoo, 09 Jul 2022How about Netflix first get their act around proper HDR support on phones!? So many phones hav... moreThey are intentionally not giving support because there server will have to decode in HDR insted of regular 1080p SDR & only small no of people want HDR on there phone. I have Motorola Edge 20 pro it have one of best display OLED , 100% DCI-P3 with 10bit colour .Due to which I have worse experience of Netflix. When I see dark movie or series colour bending is clearly visible around 40% of dark area is in box shape.
Sam, 09 Jul 2022Why would I need Spatial Audio if I am getting Dolby Atmos? Anyone care to explain? You dont have a atmos compatible sound system
How about Netflix first get their act around proper HDR support on phones!? So many phones have WV L1 as well as HDR supporting screens (OLEDs and even some LCDs), yet Netflix doesn't want to give HDR in its app!
with two speakers there is no way to achieve surround sound effect ,just simple physics

I hate that software echo-like systems, It work maybe for 1% of the time. All it do is just distort audio.
Anonymous, 08 Jul 2022I‘ve never used „spatial audio“ is it actually useful or just a tech demo gimmick? There are many different implementations of spatial audio. Some of them sound very realistic.
It is important to use headphones rather than earphones as the reflections inside the tiny enclosures of earphones degrade the spatial quality.
Anonymous, 08 Jul 2022I‘ve never used „spatial audio“ is it actually useful or just a tech demo gimmick? The sound seems more immersive. It is a personal decision wether you prefer it. I think it is amazing but am not an audiophile just a regular listener.
Anonymous, 08 Jul 2022I‘ve never used „spatial audio“ is it actually useful or just a tech demo gimmick? It's better to just keep it turned off in all situations. In my honest opinion, I've used it on several platforms (including Apple) and it's just marketing rubbish from Sennheiser and whomever. You either get proper multichannel headphones/speakers to experience spatial audio, or you listen to regular audio on regular headphones or two speakers as that seems to be the best choice overall.
What kind of gimmick is this?
Just put on a pair of headphones and you get the cleanest surround sound possible.
Feature available on xperia since early 2021.
Mark 3 can use from speakers, unlike mark 2 that needs headphones.
Yet another reason to buy Apple.
Then they will rise up the price o com'on

Wokeflix is gasping for air
Cool. I look forward to never watching Netflix.
you have to suffer, 08 Jul 2022it would be so cool if it works with usb headphones that are 7.1 enabled. If the headset is 7.1 enabled, it would already have its own spatial audio processing. This feature is only for those with stereo speakers listening to the stereo track.
