i think it will be a "great battle " between htc m7 and s 4. we shall wait and see....

"Instead the S3 ships with its native color gamut — 139% of that of sRGB, compared to 104% for the iPhone 5 — so typical web colors appear about that much more saturated than they should."
"DisplayMate’s Raymond Soneira had no trouble rating the new iPhone 5 as king of the hill. Its solid A rating trumped the iPhone 4′s A-, with the S3 finishing last with a B+. The iPhone 5 won in almost every category, most of them hands-down."
This also confirms iPhone 4 washed out colours, and iPhone 5 very accurate colours.
But the Galaxy S3 has not even reached a year since it's release.
As fat as I'm concerned this is just a dead rumor.
Why can't u guys wait for the official announcement?
Duel, 18 Feb 2013Lcd colours arent washed out, it depends of color saturation, iPhone 4 had washed out colours,... moreThey are not over saturated, they have much more color range which you can't grasp. I guess reality is saturated to you. Too bad LCD has grayish blacks and is nowhere near as blazing as SAMOLED.
ithehappy, 18 Feb 2013 Best of luck, Samsung. But I'm not giving you my money, thank you. That's 1 out of possibly 1 million, meh...no big loss.
Best bet is you couldn't afford it anyways, but that's just my 2¢.
As for the SGS4 hope is something worth the waiting and not a slightly tweaked S3 look-alike.
So far samsung has released each galaxy S phone with a noticeably different shape build. S, S2 and S3 are totally different in shape and design especially and I hope they keep that tradition with the S4 aka SIV...would be awesome to see something fresh...this isnt apple you know.
[deleted post]What fiasco and what lack of support? They are still providing support for the S2 and I'm pretty certain they're even still looking after the Galaxy S guys last time I heard? Who's the idiot now?
Best of luck, Samsung. But I'm not giving you my money, thank you.
INDROID, 18 Feb 2013u r wrong... S2 n note, both r getting jb update even S3 n note 2 is selling in a full flow...... morewell all these phones are getting the same software features as the s3 and note 2 so the only thing u buying is the hardware and to be honest i don't really see what samsung is going to bring to the table thats not already out there, who need octa core if there no app that will actually use its full potential its like giving someone a car that can go 500 miles and hour but there no road in the world will make it reach that speed
[deleted post]u r wrong... S2 n note, both r getting jb update even S3 n note 2 is selling in a full flow... sammy is only company which keeps its previous phones updated... tell me how many companies does the same??
Grimlock, 18 Feb 2013I have to agree with you. After experiencing the beauty of super amoled, I just can't stomach ... moreLcd colours arent washed out, it depends of color saturation, iPhone 4 had washed out colours, iPad 3 and iPhone 5 and iPad 4 has very good color saturation (33% more colors than earlier screens), actually best what available, those screens get closest to real rgb color range. So it means they have most natural colours. If you dont believe, read anandtech screen tests.
Superamoled colors are unnaturall oversatured and blueish. So if you like that, then you like it :)
But its matter of taste, i prefer realistic natural colours. Im with you also because i think earlier iPhone models had washed out screens, i know i have it and i have iPad 3 too which is like different world and not washed out at all, actually it looks amazing.
Oh apple, u will be missed, NOT!!! Loool
Ive never had an iphone, I never will, samsung has and sony are taking over, just hope samsung s4 is a strong build and ill be happy, if not xperia z is my next phone for sure
nothing special in comparison with other flagships we have right now.

After experiencing the beauty of super amoled, I just can't stomach that washed out bland look of LCD. On my Note 2, I can change the settings to look as washed out as LCD. But that just really turns me off. Super amoled all the way!

Maybe you should actually try a flagship Samsung device one time.
