Having a plastic back for this phone, it's a shame !
NTC one and Xperia Z are really flagship phones !
Anonymous, 04 Mar 2013i am a heavy user of mble so if s4 doesnt hav the batery power like moto razr maxx than u cn r... moreYou do know that the battery is USER replaceable, same as in the S3, it takes me all of 30 seconds to replace my depleted battery with a fully charged one, and it is not so cumbersome carrying an extra battery or two with you when you are out and about with no charging port in sight. Portable chargers are nice, but need to be attached to the phone till it is charged, reason why HTC and all these other companies making phones with batteries that can not be replaced are losing ground to Samsung, you see Samsung gives the customer " the person spending their hard earned cash" what they want from a $500-$600 plus dollar device, and that is, removable battery and expandable memory, and LG is following in the same footsteps, they see what works /"Samsung" and what does not "HTC" work.
Hey. I think u guys are watching so many review on the youtube that they said samsung phone is great. I use to think like that too. But i have wake up after i see the ugliest s3. And the touchwitz are more ugly. Samsung phone feautures are nothing. U can buy a mid range phone n install it from google store or root it. The screen is still anoled on the s4. It will not have the shaper image that u can see on sony n htc. N the sound qualities i dare bet htc one which have the best. S4 still using plastic. What the hell. Samsung s4 phone is normal. It doesnt have any good technology in it. N now they do what apple have done. Put more cores in it. But still it would be the best selling plastic phone. All bcoz of u all are so stupid ..
AnonD-95995, 04 Mar 2013Hello admins of GSM arena add the proper specs to the S IV page soon. Btw I don't care if its ... moreDude this octa core won't give 1800*8.
It will give you 4*1800 for fast performance and 4*1800 for low use.
Like the tegra 3 4cores+1 the 1 core just work in case of low use.
And for the performance it is the same as the htc one the same score.
a dual core can out perform a 4 core most of the time wen it comes to speed more cores is geared towards better power management this still does not make it the fastest phone to figure that out you would have to do more research
hd2, 04 Mar 2013I don't want this one, I want THE ONE, better build quality (most likely, considering the mate... moreI think you are wrong about the battery. Long battery life is one of the features of exynos 5 octa CPUs. The fact that it only uses 4 cores at a time (A15 for the most demanding tasks and A7 for lite usage) provides just that: long batter life.
Nice try sammy but this you won't win.
The score is the same score that htc one has.
Plastic phone with bad design.
Sense 5 is amazing with the blinkfeed.
720 front camera htc one 1080
Battery life is not as good as the one cuz the one has 2300 li.po more powerful than li.ion and Samsung devices are all with li.ion battery and i think they can't make this battery mire than 2600 because the will be heavy so li.po vs li.ion
For sure li.po will win
Also 5inchs are big and this is my opinion
Sound won't be like the htc one (dual front stereo speakers are amazing)
The camera we can't judge until the one release day.
Hope this will be htc year.
Anonymous, 04 Mar 2013No doubt this is going to be a beast on paper. Perhaps the best specs yet. The biggest (ma... moreWhat is wrong with plastic materials for a phone, the S3 is made of plastic and it has served 30 million users quite well, so has any other phone made by other manufacturers. At least plastic has some forgiveness, I mean seriously, what are you planing to do with the phone.
Hello admins of GSM arena add the proper specs to the S IV page soon. Btw I don't care if its plastic or aluminium or any other metal all i care is the Performance ! 1.8 GHz Octa !!!
Anonymous, 04 Mar 2013i dont want to use my phone under water but water protection is a must at this point also drop... moreWhat exactly is drop proofing, never hear anything of such a function, LOL. If you meant damage resistant to drops, yea OK, LOL, that all depends on the clumsiness of the person in question.
people need to realize that this octa core is actually a quadcore... it has 4 power saving cores and 4 full powered ones... they will not be used all at the same time... it is a battery saving feature so do not expect a huge performance improvement over snapdragon 600 or 800 a15 quadcores or even equal performance i should say...
when people want the best they look at all aspects os hardware and build quality so if u want the best you have to look at all and compare all samsung gets a+ for os and hardware now i want them to fix build quality it gets a d- thats why its not the best thats were they fall short so at the moment sony has an a in all catagory but it did juss come out so thats normal i hope the make it durable like a phone should be or they are going to have an overstock of units 100 million that shit better be if not water proof and drop proof or i aint buying
They have just recently had a new wireless charger approved through the FCC. I think this phone will incorporate a lot of Lumia 920 advancements. Watch for special camera software, wireless charging, and hopefully a new unique design.
Water and dust proofing is a bit gimmicky, I can see why it would be a must have in some dusty countries though.
"breaking Samsung's habit of using 8MP sensors in its high-end devices" according to GSMarena, it was an enforced habit due to Sony not being able to produce enough 13MP cameras for Sony, LG and Samsung and Sony had already signed a contract with LG by the time Samsung needed the 13MP cameras for SIII.
Having said that, I don't care at all for SIII or SIV. Nor any of Samsung's.
Anonymous, 04 Mar 2013you cant blame samsung for taking advantage of consumers if u dont have the mind to look aroun... moreYour definition of best and someone else definition maybe different.
Because they chose something different from you, does that mean samsung takes advantage of them?
People like what they like, you, me, nobody can change that. live with it man
Anonymous, 04 Mar 2013i dont want to use my phone under water but water protection is a must at this point also drop... moreAgreed. the only thing i can think holding them back is, they probably still wants to make the battery removable, so they don't want to construct a uni-body phone. unless they find some kinda weird way of incooperating the waterproofing alongside the removable battery
