I was proportionedly contradicting his opinion because of his own question wording. If he really is curious, he could just ask why it is expensive, but not by wording it as if its too overpriced. And u can see by yourself that he is comparing a handset with a full sized pc. So, let me ask, dear sir, putting his initial question and my initial answer in mind, who is unpleasant? Obviously not me.

My reasoning is that you can buy a good computer nowadays for $400-$500.
I do know alot about tech and I'm just not understanding why phones cost as much as they do now.

Bcoz if you use their products, meant they has successfully put you into prison through technology and their called this to protect users. in other words they still need money from the buyer, and i said this with the pillage.

Are u saying that every brand out there has no substantial value in their phones in comparison of their price? If so, then u are sorely mistaken. Every manufacturer, not phones only, will always offer the best quality affordable by their product overhead cost. Sell too expensively, then it will lose competition.
2. Ur question is far from simple, its a response triggering question by creating a negative impression upon the particular item.

Sony really need to fix the camera issue in Xperia Z.
The photo looks worse (less sharp) than the one shot by S3.
Another big issue that mobil Bravia Engine was not fully optimized to enhance the video quality in browser. Try to compare the similar low quality video between Xperia Z and NEXUS 4, you will notice the video in Nexus 4 looks very much better.
