Anton-, 05 Feb 2023If you don't trust, buy a Samsung or iPhone 🤣🤣If you're dropping serious cash then you'd expect vendor to keep their commitment for support.
Now, I do have S22U as work phone. Only iphones and samungs allowed due to nature of work and corporate policies. Only using the device for slack, emails, MFA, work calls and pics once a while. The battery isn't optimal for their Exynos processors in EU models even unused vendor apps are in deep sleep mode but for the use case it survives for 1½ days with AOD on...but hey, it was for free and I can get another model should I desire after 2 years while keeping this one for personal experiments. Personal phone is Pixel 7 Pro.
Samsung user, 04 Feb 2023Samsung is still the winner here.
Because out of thousand phones available in the world and... moremy wife is not as tech savy as me and she got the s22 ultra while i was having the p40 pro and is not the kind of person to bother with google hacks and stuff.
But she always gelous how good the face unlock works on my vivo while on samsung is as bad as it was on my s10 and guess when we go on vacantion with what phone she wants to take pics?

Because out of thousand phones available in the world and... morebecause average jane got no clue that there is a chinese phone that literally on par with samsung/apple exist.
you are right, ironically.

Would these international versions be rigged with Chinese bloatwares? and some apps hard to eliminate dialing back to taobao servers? How about security and android OS update cycle? How often and for how long? Sadly Chinese vendors don't have a trustworthy track record. Even OnePlus fell off the wagon a few years ago.
1pluas 2015, 04 Feb 2023I hope the price will Not be HORROR like Samsung s23 ultra 1587 Euro...The cheapest X90 rn is $590 (USD) for the 8/128 model. But that's the Chinese model. Still can use it in other countries but the data bands may not be the most ideal.
Knowing them they'll 100% guaranteed charge like at least a hundred bucks more for the international model. 🙄 Judging by what they've done with previous phones.
On an unrelated note, doesn't matter to me because both models suck in the US.
I hope the price will Not be HORROR like Samsung s23 ultra 1587 Euro...

It can be seen with how oily is the 12T pattern and how it got problems with preserving text in still comparison tool here.
Difference in resolution was visible on galaxies tho. Its should be better starting with 50mp on samsung, 200mp would add another lvl of difference.
Gggg, 04 Feb 2023I own xiaomi 12T pro, 200mpx, and while the camera isn't bad, 200mpx isn't next leve... moreExactly! Megapixel isn't everything, sensor size is. The fact remains that when you have a larger sensor, more light can come into the sensor. More light means clearer detail.

I know that s23 U will be better than xiaomi 200mpx but still, nothing "next level"

Because out of thousand phones available in the world and... moreTo me there are 2 simple reasons I wouldnt want a Samsung
1(and I agree its a bit hipster of me): most people have one
2: charges too slow for my liking
Better phone than s23 ultra for me...

vrvly, 03 Feb 2023Too weak(no plus) too late(200mp gen coming). LolIt's not like that 200MP is any revolutionary when it still produce 2.4 micron pixel at binned 12MP. That's the same figure from the Sony Xperia Pro-I with a native 12MP RGB sensor.
I'm very happy with my X80 pro and I don't think switching to x90 pro makes any big difference
Possibly a change for a newer device
Faux leather and awful big camera island. Do the designer had a lot of roundabouts and road signs on the way home? :)
Anonymous, 03 Feb 2023They should take Vivo X80 pro and just change cpu + maincam+v2, thats all. That's basically the X90 Pro+ that Vivo refuses to release outside of China
I cry a lot, 04 Feb 2023Why they don't ever release the best one to the international market ? Because best phones are for glorious mainland sir

Because out of thousand phones available in the world and having a chinese brand ultra fans husband, your wife still choose the mighty S22 Ultra.👍
Maybe your wife knows some bad truths about chinese phone.
