the author talking about WinMo "Standard" which used to be called smartphone edition which was used for non-touch screen devices, the PDA version is called WinMo Professional

I owned the S710 and the S730 and I loved them (only on WM 6.1) except for the very bad quality slider. The two halves go apart as far as 3mm, which is huge, it makes the phone rattles like a musical instrument.
I pray that the quality will be better, but frankly, I don't expect it to, and if not, this time I am not buying.

I dont know why some are calling it a strange design. being an owner of both the S710 and 730 i think this will be a perfect bussiness phone. as the form factor is effeciant and with processing power this one has it will be extreamly fast. its perfect for when hand use unlike the front qwerty keybord handsets. I cant wait to get it.

          Its essentially a "toucherized" S710

HTC is still patronizing the diamond design. its getting spoiled!

I think its still a damn looking fine device but the lack of flash is still dissapointing.

I don't know why the author of this text says that there are no supporters of Win mobile, or I misunderstood it...

Well, kinda like it. I like my phone to be rather long. I think HTC shouldn't put qwerty keyboard to the phone though. It makes the design questionable, having the screen far away to the left.
