Anonymous, 04 Sep 2008just because samsung released a 8mp cameraphone, theyve already become the best? what if alcat... moreOh no sweety. It wasn't just about Innov8's 8mp cam.
Actually the 8mp cam of innov8 is just the icing on the cake.
Why don't you take a peek at innov8 specs for you to know that it's a powerhouse.
Vaan, 04 Sep 2008Nokia is one month late in releasing this phone, Samsung innov8 is already out. In my opinion ... moreyeah, samsung innov8 is already out in the market ahead of n96. but can you name a person who already bought that phone? i think, no matter how good innov8 is, it will still be a flop just like other samsung s60 phones. why? because it costs almost 2 n96s already!
Anonymous, 03 Sep 2008good device bu there r 3 things that sould have been ipmroved : 1) they have downgraded(264mhz... moreN95 doesn't have 332mhz dual cpu . Use Xplore and go to device info . the cpu speed is 206 mhz !! but as you see , it's so faster than N81 that has 369mhz (not dual) cpu . Actually N95's cpu works as a 400mhz-cpu . so the cpu speed of N96 is more than N95. ( be sure ! i've tried my phone in device info many times !!)
sanju, 04 Sep 2008not only nokia but anather brand like sony ericsson, motorola, samsung is the best. n96 is same... morejust because samsung released a 8mp cameraphone, theyve already become the best? what if alcatel releases a 100mp cameraphone, which will be the best phone manufacturer then?
Anonymous, 04 Sep 2008The Samsung INNOV8 is looking better every moment!how many of the people in this thread who are praising samsung innov8 will actually buy that phone? the truth? i guess, nobody...
Tooooooooo late Nokia .......
Here comes Samsung i8510
and much more interesting phones.......
Samsung have successfully began to penestrate into Nokia N series
territory with INNOV8 and OMNIA. Good bye n series, rock'n roll
samsung!It's too late N96
To begin with, after buying N95, I have sworn never again to buy another Nokia. The build is far too shabby for the price we pay.
Anyway, Here's what I think about this phone:
1. TV tuner - not all countries uses the transmission format.
2. Battery will drain like mad with the TV on.
3. Samsung Omnia has already have the 16GB + SD slot.
4. Camera is out of date for a flagship.
5. Screen is too small compared to its competition.
6. Battery is far too weak.
7. Even with the N95's processor, it hangs often, why are they downgrading it in the N96?
8. if one can have built-in tv tuner, why not a built-in radio tuner? No one seems to care, for some reason....
i am using the nokia n95 now n very bored with it already. it has beeen like almost 2 yrs.i am not sure whether to buy the n96.how much will it cost? pls reply n giv some suggestions. thanks.
Anonymous, 03 Sep 2008good device bu there r 3 things that sould have been ipmroved : 1) they have downgraded(264mhz... moreplz read carefully the specs its downgraded "BUT" its dual.. get it? times 2..
Dani , 03 Sep 2008i will tell you why..
1. Good Customer Service
2. Nokia care centre's are everywere!
3. ... morenot only nokia but anather brand like sony ericsson, motorola, samsung is the best.
n96 is same like n81,booring..........................
like what I've posted before...
if you happen to own let's say N82, N95 classic or N95 8g right now you better keep it for a moment and not to jump and get this upcoming phones like the N79, N85 or even N96 because practically it's all the same. I think the ONLY worthy upgrade that we can really expect from nokia is their implementation of TOUCH UI OS.
But for now, nobody really can deny the superiority of Samsung Innov8.
Anonymous, 04 Sep 2008No way man. Japanese technology has fallen back now. I would prefer Korean tech over the Jap a... moreit's so true,
just like Sony-Ericsson who equipped all their camera with Samsung's CCD/CMOS sensor.
