Hesht, 12 Apr 2013The two are compatible. . . Proof for you:
Hesht, 12 Apr 2013The two are compatible. . . RT and WP8? Really? Which apps that you can buy in the WP8 Store you could use on a RT tablet and how would you access that store in the first time? And vice-versa.
Not sure how I feel about this. It's nice that I can have all my live tile updates without scrolling down, but the screen could become cluttered very easily (Something I didn't like about Android and Widgets)

"Consider this: in 2010, 3 people bough each a phone, each with a different OS(iOS, Android, WP7). In 2013 they decide to buy the latest phone and a tablet with their favourite OS. The iOS and Android guys will keep the apps they bought since 2010. The WP8/RT guy, not, he has to buy all the apps again, both for the phone and the tablet(it applies also for a W8 tablet). Now, fast forward to 2014-2015. All these guys will buy new phones and tablets with their favourite OS. The iOS and the Android guys will keep all their apps bought since 2010. The Windows guy, buying a "unified" WP/RT OS will have to buy AGAIN all his apps. How would you feel being the WP guy?".
MS is seriously considering "unifying" the WP8 with RT as they realised it makes no sense to have separate OSes for ARM phones and ARM tablets. But since the two OSes are not compatible with each other, the new OS won't be compatible with at least one of the WP8 or RT OS, if not both.
So think about it!
