it's about time that htc start making phone with 5 mp hey no flash, are they joking this is 2008 after all.
perfect phone- it would trump all if it had xenon flash and 16gb built-in memory
Overwhelming resolution of 800 x 480 pixels ?!?! WTF IX.2008
Toshiba G900 ,800 x 480 pixels (Wide-VGA), 3.0 inches, - Marvell PXA270, 520 MHz processor ,......2007, February. That WAS overwhelming then not now.
Its good to see more phones coming out with WVGA screens like the Xperia. If it weren't for the round edges, this phone could of look very nice (its still nice though). Maybe they made it like that because the phone is too tall and wide due to the large screen.
Yigal, 10 Sep 2008HTC should name this the HTC Dream... Supposed to be in time for mobile 7... meaning that a... moreNot just as the HTC Dream... why not call it the HTC WET dream! This phone will make that crappy iPhoney 3g look like garbage.
Where's the heck is the xenon(or any flash for that matter)? A 5 meg camera w/out a flash, how much sense does that make, really? HTC really crippled its potential for supreme greatness imo.
Why this curves and round edges HTC? This would look perfect with the 'diamond" like hard edges. Cheers!
Finally a Perfect Touchscreen Phone!!!!!!
i will definatly consider this HTC
instead of iPhone and Omnia
It's REALLY a Dream :). I've looked for a device like that for about half of the year!!!
P.S. I think, that this screen has more, than 65k colors. 65k - it's f limit for WM :)
no flash they must be kidding.
they are still behind sony e, samsung and nokia
why htc would release a phone with a 5 megapix camera without a flash is beyond my imagination....
Is it better than the Touch Pro? Actually I don't see that WOW as the Touch Pro.
Humph! HTC uses resistive touch screen technology, which is cheaper than the capacitive technology used in the iPhone. Result? The screen gets SCRATCHED easily, low brightness screen and no multitouch :(
iPhone is soo unrivaled when it comes to physical design and component quality
