Been waiting so long for a n900-n950 successor. Shame this is probably going to be more like E72 type phone instead.
Until I see a side sliding lumia I'll be sticking with android a bit longer
Would be happy to buy Nokia Lumia with Windows OS 8 with QWERTY keypad.
i hope nokia will produce bigger qwerty phone. at least 3.2" and have better processor and camera.
S.R.S, 22 Apr 2013put symbian in it..i wil buy it thn surelyUnfortunately, Nokia have killed Symbian long ago. Nokia E5-00 is the best QWERTY keypad phone launched by them till date. I will surely buy next phone by Nokia QWERTY/Symbian. Using Nokia E5-00 for last two years.
Proud Nokia user for last 10 years.
BTW, what is Android/Samsung?
I don't think it's a QWERTY or anything close to that. And I'm sorry but I did read the original post on Nokia conversations, they said nothing about QWERTY.
Hence I think it's better you should not use to phrase "to announce" because you don't know what would come up. :)
NOKIA FANBOY PRO, 22 Apr 2013I can't wait for Nokia's announcement! I'm very confident it will be another Android killer de... moresorry to break it to you, but nokia is losing more and more enthusiasts due to the cheaper and more powerful android phones (especially china phones)... plus, symbian is way behind the other OSes
It's long overdue for key pad lovers. All phone makers only make touch screens these days. I hope Nokia would make good mid-entry phones with specs that can compete with androids and iphones. Only good phones with qwerty are the BBs
post nokia user, 22 Apr 2013Lets us see how many people around us is using nokia. Almost none. Nokia still keep their prid... moreLets see how many people around us are using Ferrari? Almost none, so by your logic Ferrari must worst company too.
Chill out guys, it's an Asha phone!
"On Wednesday morning at 7am GMT we will be announcing something new, followed by a Q&A session with Neil Broadley from our Mobile Phones team and a special guest."
"Mobile Phones team" = Asha.
LOL, Nokia plays with you:)!
Lets us see how many people around us is using nokia. Almost none. Nokia still keep their pride huh.the fact see how many people around us is using nokia. See how good their company now. As good as dead.
hopefully it not a dual-sim device, i need a new qwerty phone, i prefer nokia, than blackberry special now, os7 will left far behind with os10. I guess...
TheApprentice, 22 Apr 2013Forgetting the E series are you?E and N series is the best! Always love nokia...
Common_636, 22 Apr 2013And i think thats why some mobile companies are failing, its because they THINK they know what... moreNowaday, costumer always want everything become like android... They also want nokia using android. Why? Too many device using android... Good enough nokia doing its own style.. And good enough they using windows. different from other... If all phone in this world using android.. People will get boring...cause all phone is same
And Some people still love qwerty phone..
s40 phones are budget phones. They cover basics and a few extras at a low cost. I think no one beats nokia over there. Im impressed with the lumia series, maybe they are not perfect but they are getting there. I still prefer qwerty pads over on screen qwerty pads. The only thing is, it creates more bezel and i HATE,DISLIKE,DESPISE,LOATHE LARGE BEZELS. More screen looks nicer so far as it does exceed 4.5".
Its a good news for me because i like to use Nokia low end phone with qwerty keypad, many people in my country (especially in downtown ) use two phones : the primary one is smart phone or tablet and the secondary one is basic phone such as Nokia 206, Nokia 112 ect. .up to now i still use my old Nokia E90 bec. its very solid and usefull for me. .it will be great if Nokia upgrades E90 by using window OS. But the important things for smart phone is : large screen (at least 5"), good camera 8MP - 12MP ( best camera is very good bec.the market is very competive at the present), less heavy , fast internet ect. . .anyway i will change my secondary phone Nokia 206 to the new qwerty model (made by Nokia) when it releases . .:) thanks Nokia !
