Nokia once again proved it cannot make, compact large screen and good looking qwerty's. What is good about this phones is the color. The design looks dull right from its E series.
X, 24 Apr 2013Really? How long do you think will take for this phone to get to a landfill? How many people d... moreI see them using year after year minimum of two, some of them still have their Nokia phones working in perfect conditions. I still have 3 year old 5233 that is working flawlessly. People get bored and jump to Samsung cause its currently on the top, but soon realize that the Samsung phones in low price and mid price range are very poorly built with a cheap quality plastic. At least the cheap Nokia phones are only cheap by price, their hardware is still top notch. Even when Nokia is at bottom of the market still there is no dip in the quality of hardware. This is a company that will sell its headquarters but won't sell cheap materials to customers to gain profit like Samsung does. Respect.
nokia, learn something from the masters of qwerty. you still have no sense in making good qwerty phones.
Skendy, 24 Apr 2013hahaha Nokia play jurassic park 210? :DA qwerty from the stone-age.

Anonymous, 24 Apr 2013Nokia is the "greenest" of all the companies!Really? How long do you think will take for this phone to get to a landfill? How many people do you see using cheap Nokia phones like this released last year?

"Asha series is mainly target to the marke... moreasha derived from hindi,is targeted at the lower low end,be it india or any other country.its correct that india is getting latest tech quickly these days(galaxy s4 launching day after 2morow or be it developing first fone for blind),but there are all kinds of people in india.moneywise, from rickshawalas(they can't go for a latest tech galaxy, iphone or lumia, all they can afford is a china fone,or for quality an asha) to ambani(who themselves run telecom companies).
AnonD-14841, 24 Apr 2013Now with this device on
There's no reason why anyone should buy the current blackberry 7 devices have you used email and whatsapp on S40? It is so slow, it is almost painful.
if Nokia wants to fight the Blackberry Q10, it needs to pull out it's beautiful E6, and release it with dual SIM and 8MP.
Looks nice...if this phone comes with multitasking(i mean just minimising browser or facebook apps and replaying to SMS, not like smartphones) and costs around Rs.4k(around $75) this phone can compete with Samsung's REX series...tie up with Whatsapp is a good move by Nokia...some people here should understand that not every one wants a smartphone...people who prefers Qwerty and little social networking will definitely love this Asha phone...
