I can say h... moreI agree. If you have friends that own iPhones, your user experience is so much better. iMessage is a godsend for me.
WhatsApp is good, but very hit and miss and some messages can take hours to arrive, but I keep it for sending photos.
Android isn't the answer for me for when I want to move away from Apple. Once WP has built up its app store I might try that.

I can say however.. that once you get used to iMessage, and you have friends who group chat all day.. its hard to go back to a shitty aftermarket app that kills your battery.. For me, even though I WOULD LOVE A BIGGER SCREEN (say 4.3-4.7), I simply cannot make do without all the Apple stuff you just take for granted when you are used to it. This is the realisation I had with Android, when I bought a SGS2, and then again a HTC ONE X.
Awesome phones, nice screen, everything. But the smoothness, the REAL functionality (not eye scroll rubbish - real things you use).. you cant beat it.
It looks like the HTC One is the winner this year. There are some good reviews for the SGS4, but a lot mention lag and bad build quality.
By lag, I mean the gestures interface isn't very smooth.

Graz, 25 Apr 2013Ultrapixel is just a buzzword. Megapixel is an actual technical word.Or should we say, "gimmik"? even if we compare it to an 8MP camera, that "ultrapixel" thing is left behind.
thenuts, 25 Apr 2013I have One and no updates available yet (UK on Three carrier). Current software version 1.28.771.6. branded phones always take longer!

Synonymous, 25 Apr 2013Nah, thats just the theory about "Ultrapixel". But try comparing 4ultrapixel of hTc ... moreAgree, the One will not kill the Butterfly. The 8MP does way more details. The HTC One does more light. I'd take the BUtterfly.

Business Insider compiled reviews from All Things D, New York Times, AnandTech, The Verge, Engadget, Gizmodo and Ars Technica.
Guess what? EVERY SINGLE REVIEW except one mentioned that HTC One was better, and almost all complained about SGS4 cheap build quality.
And the headline Business Insider used: "The Verdict Is In: Samsung's Galaxy S4 Isn't The Best Android Phone"
It's still MP by the way, the ultra pixel is a marketing ploy, the apertature is f2.0 which is a great thing to have.
I have had the phone since launch and it's truly a beast of a phone, better than the S4 in my opinion, i'll probably buy that too as i'm a bit of a phone buff, but when you weigh up the two phones, the One comes out on top.
The camera is an absolute beast for the resolution it has, pictures are crisp and detailed and superb lighting, i've compared it with the S3 and S4 and it measures up pretty well.
AnonD-83516, 25 Apr 2013...It's like Htc didn't try the camera before they decided to put it on their flagship phone
... moreI take it you have the phone to give such an informed opinion?
It certainly does not suck. Well at least not any more then any other smartphone camera.
...It's like Htc didn't try the camera before they decided to put it on their flagship phone
It's SUCKs! (even before you start to compare it to all the other phones)
I'm currently downloading the update, its version 1.29.401.12 ( size 229.04 MB)
ultrapixel? they made their own name. if it so "ultra" there will be ton of other device will follow using ultrapixel
1 Giga (G) = 1 billion = 1,000,000,000
1 Mega (M) = 1 million = 1,000,000
1 kilo (k) = 1 thousand = 1,000
1 centi (c) = 1 one-hundredth = 0.01
1 milli (m) = 1 one-thousandth = 0.001
1 micro (u) = 1 one-millionth = 0.000001
1 pico (p) = 1 one-trillionth = 0.000000000001
I was going to get the S4 until they decided to keep the same design. This phone doesnt have all the features of the S4 but its such a great phone. The phone feels like a million dollars in your hand.
I would reccomend that anyone thinking of getting a S4 (nothing wrong with that) should go and hold the HTC One in your hand and make a decision after that. Lets face it most smartphones now a days are not that far apart.
