Delaying the release isnt a choice from Samsung it is that of the network provider. I work for such a provider in the UK and we have shortages aswell but are sending out all the handsets we have until the next batch is delivered. Theres no reason for the actual release date to be changed.
Technology goes very fast. If you can make the same product faster, you must sell it immediately or else the competitors will. There is noway samsung is keeping its storage while the demand is high.
Manufacturers do create hype, but only when they do not have the product, then creating hype can keep the customer waiting.
Samsung haters lol!, this phone is gonna sell like mad whether you like it or not, its out of stock in my area too, happily i ordered early and can't wait for that beast tomorow, swallow your jealousy, best phone ever
hmmm this is a hype? im guessing SG3 selling more than htc, sony and LG combined was a hype to?
Everyone has delays these days. I'm surprised that the demand is even higher than Samsung expected - they expected to sell 100 million of these phones instantly, right?
If they wanted to be mean they'd release what they have now and create demand by scarcity, like the Nexus 4 did. I think they're being fair.
Even if this was true, there's no point in delaying the sales, just sell what you can.
i also find this hard to believe, since i have friends who also work in other phone companies and have gs4 in stock.
I find this hard to believe as they produce most of their own parts.... this is just to hype it up to make ppl rush to buy it
