AnonD-87222, 27 Apr 2013I really reccomend the LCD crowd to try using AMOLED. You'll never want to look at LCDs ever a... moreUntil you use it outside and with the sun shining directly on it.
OLED is known to be very weak in that aspect.

Nokia/WP again? Lumia Lumia Lumia... almost every thread on GSMArena there is someone finding a way to inject Nokia/WP into the comments/reviews. I'm beginning to suspect it's a paid effort by Nokia or Microsoft.

That's hard to beat.
They forgot to compare Galaxy S4' screen to the Lumia 920's. Lumia 920' screen pretty much beat iPhone 5's in every category you can think of.

"Then comes the brightness – it turns out that if you leave the phone in automatic brightness mode, the screen can go as much as 34% brighter compared to the maximum of manual mode. That’s 68% brighter than the maximum of the Galaxy S III (the Galaxy S4 in manual is 25% brighter than its predecessor)."
And after that comes mathematics - 34% (higher than on manual mode) + 25% (higher on manual then S3) = 68% !!! :-D No wonder that S4 beats them all... on paper.

Am happy with my s3. The only thing that would make me upgrade from sgs3 to 4 is the 2GB RAM
OK, spend some money to get better specs I cannot distinguesh between. Not a good idea for me.

AnonD-77443, 27 Apr 2013Since the iphone 4 i have had the SGS2, Note and now Note 2. I have never had any burn issues.... moreI now have the Note 8 which has a TFT screen. I compared it with the Note 2's Super AMOLED using the same video file. "Black clipping" happens on both if the video is low quality.
Pretty excited what the S4 is ushering for the Note 3.
i won't recommend the amoled screen =)) i would want retina and super amoled haha!
After using amoled displays, I never think about lcd screens.
