Really love my Tab 2 7.0 - use it constantly for so many different apps. Form factor is ideal for me in every respect.
If the Tab 3 7.0 offered a meaningful step up in functionality or speed, I'd be a natural buyer. But it appears that the differences are minimal.
I'm really glad to see Samsung continue to push this Galaxy Tab line forward and keep breathing life in to it to help expand the user base, but it does not appear there's enough for current users of Tab 2 7.0 to jump to the Tab 3 7.0 if you already are on board.
Since the product is basically the same as the Tab 2, the question is: will it use the same kind of connectors, or existing users will be obliged to get rid of current peripherals, that probably cost more than the tablet itself, in order to use the new small "8.0 - like" ones?
r u kidding only 1gb ram. i was expecting a 2gb
and no 4.2andriod hell
the indian manufactures are offering u all also a led flash with a 8mp shooter and a 2mp secondary cam tooo
at nearly 20grand
Hope it has a flash. It will make a diffrence please, I really want to be able to snap pics at night
Well, it looks good.I'm looking for tablet right now, and I think I'll wait it coming to Indonesia.
I dont see any reason to go with this tab. galaxy tab 2 is much better then this because tab 2 has got the same specifications at lower price.
Good - but could be Great.
With 111mm width in portrait mode they are finally on the right track - but still not there.
If you really could hold it comfortably in one hand than it should not be wider than 100mm.
The bezel is still far from the S4 design - another 5mm on each side could be shaved off.
Even at the cost of becoming a few mm thicker.
I am convinced that a 7 inch tablet with these design specs would be a huge success.
@husselang 8GB for internal tablet storage is really terrible man, that 64GB SD card is only for storage, you cannnot move download apps on the SD card or so my Tab 2 does not, that why I opt for the 16GB version at least I still have a lot of memory for future app download I really need, and just delete those useless one, now if not for those bloatware

Samsung have truly created a galaxy of Galaxy S3 now and the no. goes on increasing (in both models and size)!Even d sky isn't d limit when it comes 2 Samsung's device sizes (maybe d galaxy? I doubt it)! Keep bloating 'em up Samsung! We want a 30'' Galaxy S device soon! Roflmao!
What is its pricing going to be like? will this be worth the wait coz the TAB 2 has almost the same specs!

give option of deleting pre installed apps in Samsung...
y do we need to carry all apps which are of no use to some one
A bit better, i'll trade my old tab plus for this one anyday. Sammy took off the soft keys on the screen, meaning bigger screen size. I hate the soft keys on my tab 2 plus, some games dont work.
ouji2236, 30 Apr 2013so nothing new...
pass Samsung has made note 8.0 high end tablet with $100.00 usd price over iPad mini(16gb WiFi) which cost$299.99 . Tab3 7inch is similar spec to iPad mini with price lower to it. Samsung will more likely keep the price $199.99 usd which is $100.00 lesser than iPad mini(16gb WiFi).
Samsung is trying to snatch every possible consumer of apple and other competitor.
Sad thing is that i was hoping that tab3 would atleadt have 1280x720 resolution, 1.5 to 2 GB ram, and at least 1.6 GHz dual core.
