could have been way cooler, both the Standby Screen and the G1, there should have been more eye candy and no video recording? what happened to open source an all....better not be any limitations cause noone wants another device with potential to go down the drain

Why copy so much the iPhone?
Manufactures need to get real designers so they can create a great looking phone. Android is something that ppl want to check out, but with such an ugly phone...
I agree with the comment about Xperia: It was WOW when it was announced, but once it will be released, it won't be worth the price tag.
Android is among one of the only OS that can really compete with OSX from iPhone.

Man xperia was announced only on specification sheet it will never gonaa hit in the market because xperia's big daddy htc touch, diamond and now touch HD, 3G are already in the market. So who need xperia.........

OMG don't even announce it please. It's so ugly. All this hype and hard work for nothing. Touch screen phones are so easy to make pretty... why do they have to put that ugly controls at the bottom? and this is supposed to go against the iphone.. Have they even asked one people on the street how ugly it is before they continue to invest in it? I think i'd look stupid holding a phone like that
