what marketshare....they commited suicide with windows....this is only to make m$ relevant...notice it's only nokia pumping out as many wp phones as android ones.... After killing their 30% symbian....they deserve nothing
remember my words, and nokia marketing spy if you read this: the first big growth of windows mobile will start when microsoft will make the first big update of actual devices existing now on market,at the future wp9. this way they will prove to undecided customers that windows mobile platform is reliable and mature. when my lumia 920 will receive the future wp9(codename apollo or blue),the sales will begin to raise up dramatically, will be the key moment.anyway wp8 is very good, somehow between ios and android

but hey! we techs are earning money just by rooting/modifying those phones owned by lazy/busy people, that's the good part with Android.. we treat those roms like themes that we used to change back in Symbian days, and that's what we call CUSTOMIZATION, not boring tiles nor overpriced games and accessories iPhone has.. all we have to pay is our time reading, researching and learning
we must respect each other!
AnonD-143863, 11 May 2013Users are leaving Nokia but More Users are moving to Nokia, finally..!!no. they are the same users, but like me, they become bored after two years of crowded and twisted android on cheap horrible plastic device like my ex samsung galaxy s2 and very bad radio signal even with apple bumper and zero conectivity and transfer of my ex iphone 4s. i return to nokia as i found an old friend. it is true i do not use many apps: only skype, facebook, viber. i do not play games
Iskander, 10 May 2013Your last sentence I really don't understand. Or rather, I understand it pretty well, but I ge... moreYou misunderstood my point. I said why would you still want Nokia with Android. Aren't Android users satisfied with Sony, Huwaei, LG, Smasung, Motorolla and many many other brands.
This is been not the first time some one wrote "If Nokia with Android, will be a dominating device/killer device". What guarantee you have that Nokia will survive in the Android battle while almost 97% of Mobile manufacturing companies holds Android as their major platform. Sony, LG, Motorolla, HTC aren't newly introduced Android using platforms, they are being in this battle since starting and guess what? They still can't compete with Samsung.
Android is indeed the most marketed OS currently but with the time passes, it will change. Nothing can remain on the top forever, an economy first reaches the BOOM level then collapses due to highly growth of inflation rate.
Nokia just found a way out from it's bad period which is WP. The charts, graphs show the increase in WP market shares so therefore, no need for Android in Nokia.
Anonymous, 10 May 2013Nokia will never make a Android device (at the moment). And why are you begging for Android? W... morePersonally I have not found a better keyboard than Swype, having to type on iOS or Windows is such a pain. This is a personal preference, but I could not have a non-android phone until they have better keyboards. Perhaps this will change in a later version of the OS until then can't consider another OS. Other than the keyboard there is no other feature that would prevent me from moving to Windows.
Its specs are slightly inferior to the Sony Xperia SP, so should its price!
If it isnt, that would mean that Nokia have learned nothing and they are still trying to rip off their customers...
I am not against any OS or any platform or infact any OEM..they have not given me any freebies..they all are doing business..take money and provide service or in this case they provide OS and hardware to run it.
I have used..symbian,iOS,android,WP7,WP8..all have their pros and cons..its upto the user to choose what's bet for him/her..its upto you to have a mobile with option of SD card..its the user requirement..companies are giving option..just choose what's best for you..promote that to others..but please do not try to tarnish any other OS....
Its a free world "Choose and Let Choose".....
AnonD-142147, 11 May 2013If nokia adapt android on their phone i'm sure nokia will be number 1 selling phone. #WeWantNo... morehow pls tell me. they are not capable of producing 30 million smartphone whether it android or windows phone.
If Nokia joins android, It will be joining xda forums, and you'll end up, wasting your time rooting, flashing, looking for better firmware, oh my firmware , slow and lag what firmware should i get, and oh here it is, use this firmware..and oh again, bloatware, what? how to remove that? here's another link again, you android fans are so immature. Not all people have time to waste on those flashing/rooting/ custom ROm here and there
I agree with you, and this is an evidence that most of these comments are from children who nags about some games.
I remember the time when Apps were not even legal and they would damage your warranty....lol
Anonymous, 11 May 2013for me a smartphone must do: to fly a drone and see and record drone's camera capture, to talk... moreGood Smart features choice..I think I too would like to have that drone flying feature.. :)
People are really dumb, there are various brands that runs on android, and they are yelling on Nokia should run android also.. Its crazy, they become an addict, i'm not wondering if their house have an android logo at their door. they want everything to run on android,, i guess ill join them,, im gonna complain that casio should put an android also in their calculator damn this crazy fanboys
Here are some camera features of the Lumia 928.
Don't understand why people want Android based Nokia.
If you want the hardware of Nokia..then use what is available. If not then stop wasting your precious data by asking Nokia to go for Android...Nokia is not going to change their OS in a blink by reading these comments.
They are not forcing any one to buy WP8..
I read some comments yesterday after the launch of 501 Asha..people comparing it with SGS4.. I mean common people give Nokia a break..its a low end mobile..
Most of the people commenting don't even know what OS is..and what a processor does..but they want 4-8 processors..2 GB RAM and most importantly.."APPLICATIONS"..this application war is of no sense..agreed that WP8 has less apps..so what..
I think WP8 is having camera apps..to edit images..wallpaper apps..chatting apps..email apps..weather apps..
may be dont have 20K weather apps...but then who needs them..i got only one app which gives me all the data..if something better comes up then i"ll use that..but counting just for the sake of counting is no good people..and hence
I REST MY CASE..
discbrake, 10 May 2013You're right. That's why I am using Sony Xperia ZL at the moment. If Nokia run on Android OS I... moreno need for Nokia to join in the Android bandwagoon. becouse now much company in android with better in every aspect than Nokia. if you love Nokia, just get what they do, and us in here dont need Nokia with Android.
AnonD-101699, 11 May 2013Explain your so-called smart features please,,,for me a smartphone must do: to fly a drone and see and record drone's camera capture, to talk in a videocall on skype via hsdpa or 4g from miami beach with my girlfriend from murmansk, siberia, russia without distorsions, to have all my music i liked since i was born, organised in playlists in my phone's memory, to call a taxy just touching the screen, on the map with my location, to have gps with maps off line in phone's memory, to have a minimum 16 mp camera and full hd video
Anonymous, 11 May 2013Even the Lumia 920 beats Galaxy S4' camera.

Being 5 Inches or Greater doesn't mean SmartPhone. Smart Phone needs some Smart Features in Phone not like Video Pause or whatever.
