Every Call Duration also is very important which is not there in Lumia 720 that I have.
All the features mentioned in the amber update is not very frequently used ones.
will the amber update bring the following features to Lumia 520(these are frequently used and very basic expected features):
1. File manager or provisions to rename, copy, cut files between phone n sd card. Send pdf files in the sd card via mail or Bluetooth and such basic requirements?
2. Video sharing via Bluetooth?
3. Call duration?
4. A player that supports all video formats?
5. Cancel the apps keeping data?
6. Able to save pdf files from mail or internet to phone or sd card?
7. Call recording?
file manager .....pls..pls..pls
and each n every video file supported video player .that's all nokia
Is it true that these features are more important than adding basic functionalities such as separate volume control for music, ringtone and alert, Scheduling email sync etc..
Also please update the call logs which we can easily notified between outgoing and incoming calls also please update to know the call durations of the outgoing and incoming calls
James , 21 Jun 2013No phone has a built in FM receiver. That's why they are built into the headphonesactually most phones do have a built in radio receiver. i have a nokia 5233, which "does not" have a built in radio receiver (as per the specifications), but i can still use the radio with just about any pair of earphones. (i have a pair of skullcandy earphones and yes the radio works with it too!!)
try it with your phone too if u want!

tell me how many people bought this phone for FM radio? don't be pathetic... moreOf course no one has bought it for the FM radio but there are some people who would choose not to buy it because it doesn't have an FM radio and, let's face it, Nokia can't afford to alienate even a small percentage of its potential customer base. I often listen to the radio during my commute so a radio is a must have for me. If they get FM radio support then, suddenly, Nokias will make my shortlist whereas some big players on other platforms (such as the Nexus 4) won't.
I find it sad that a couple of years ago Nokia were routinely putting FM transmitters in their phones and now, thanks to Microsoft. they aren't even able to get their FM receivers to work. :-(
AnonD-14417, 14 May 2013nokia 620 has not radio after update because i thought every window 8 phone has radio hardware... moreSomeone has probably answered this already but the answer is that the 620 doesn't have built in FM receiver - no software can enable hardware if it's not there to be enabled in the first place.
Wow! FM radio with this editon. No smartphone has FM radio! Good for Windows to be the first smartphone with built-in FM radio. Microsoft is a genius to come up with FM radio in a smartphone!

Anonymous, 14 May 2013Nokia betrayed people who bought lumia 620 Betrayal? I own a 620 and I don't consider it like that. Nokia never provided information on which model have an FM hardware.

another argument some bring is the specs. I have L920 and this phone gets better with the time unlike some other phones on different platforms.
You can add new version of Creative Studio to list. It show on engaged video and it was major update for the app.
Windows Phone devices are getting better and better. The reason behind this is ..... NOKIA. Now can also expact internal File Manager for Windows Devices. More and more software updates are coming but we really need a File Manager.
Waaah? Why does the 620 not have the hardware for FM Radio? And does this mean the 'lower' spec'd 520 does have the tech for it? How disappointing. I was going to pick up the 620 in a couple days but now I don't know. And they don't offer the 720 (which I think is overall better) here on an official carrier.
