For Blackberry so love the Android and Apple OS and gave its only begotten son called BBM who's will not perish with the BB10 OS but will have everlasting value in the mobile industry. Blackberry has finally shows. How frustrating there were when samsung and rest denied them of merger or possible assistance even though they are not patient to see how the BB10 will succeed and how good their two flagship Will do......hope they know what its means to loose its only son
I feel this will finish a lot of BB users only stay with them for BBM if it goes cross platform people will surly chuck there BB's in the bin
Arif, 14 May 2013Nothing for Belle I'm afraid. The operating system is no longer supported by the creators, so ... morewhatsapp for symbian is still getting lots of updates due to push from nokia. nokia has a very close relationship with whatsapp and its using to make whatsapp develop more for nokia devices. if anybody noticed , wp, symbian and s40 r the among most platforms getting updates from whatsapp
I keep blackberry due to its bbm, i will throw away bb when this feature available in other platforms.
Why would anyone want to stick with WhatsApp when there are other free and better options (Line and KakaoTalk) out there? BBM getting on Android and iOS is just trying to grab a piece of the pie out there. I will only use BBM for my contacts sticking with the company and wouldnt want to install either Line or KakaoTalk. Besides that, I will stay away :D
Good strategy for BlackBerry though ;)
bb in IOS am full of joy but bb need to know it business, save your company
Why use this obsolete BBM, when you have WHATSAPP which is top1 multiplaform messenger which much more features. Totally useless news, as you have now better alternatives.
your guys really are short thinking. The quantity of Blackberry device out there are falling so Blackberry plan is to implement BBM in iOS and Android is a good strategy. Why? because Blackberry still alive is just for BBM, so the BBM app will be free for every Android and iOS, this mean that almost 97% of smartphones will be using BBM and in order to use, everyone need to subscribe to a Blackberry services, this will represent a huge extra money for RIM.
Unless its gonna be free its an utter waste of effort n money to lure ios n droid customers to b
Soon u ll get a BB device free with every pack of Heinz ketchup
Blackberry Just pressed the Self Destruct button...Thorstein Heinz must be a very daft CEO
Farhank, 14 May 2013wat about symbian belle ? It has at least 5% of market share wats app is earning from there to..Nothing for Belle I'm afraid. The operating system is no longer supported by the creators, so no developer is going to support it.
WhatsApp isn't earning much from Symbian. At one poit Symbian was a market leader, that's when WhatsApp developed for it. If WhatsApp was a new service, Symian would not be supported.

We're here when they started the talk and we'll be here when it will start and see how it will go. Don't start what you can't finish BB
