Really wish they'd worry less about weight. I like the heft, its a sign of quality. Light is ok a marketing technique for Apple, but everyone else needs to get off it.

Whilst Nokia's efforts to raise the standards of mobile photography are to be applauded (beginning to incorporate Carl Zeiss lenses on the popular N95 and the 6500 Slide a number of years ago for example) if these new forthcoming devices like the EOS are priced too highly serious photographers will always opt for dedicated camera solutions.

Still a Nokia Fan, 17 May 2013OS is from Microsoft. Not Nokia. Camera is Nokia's and they are doing an awesome job on that front. The basic software is from Microsoft but Nokia overlay it.

Why does the screen have to be so damn big? I have small hands!! 4" would have been big enough!

shab, 17 May 2013they must focus on OS rather than camera.. good phone thoughNokia makes hardware. MS makes WP. Nokia is doing its job to focus on hardware and its doing way better than others. Its MS who needs to focus on software.

People should understand that there is a market for these camera phones, i am using the 808 because i need a phone AND a camera. Yes there are people that would buy the phone specifically for the camera. Why don't i buy a camera you ask? because i never have it around and it is extra baggage, while the phone i have always around. I applaud this nokia model and hope it surfaces really soon.

Next to the camera was a xenon flash (smaller than the one the 808 has) and two LEDs – one white for video light and one red for AF assist (the 808 has the exact same arrangement).

My 808 doesn't have a red LED for AF assist?!
