Btw that's sony "make believe"
at least the design is 1 million light years better than the original galaxy s4.
To me the bezels look EXACTlY like the S3, so my guess is since the screen has 480 ppi it could mean the screen is smaller to which I guess it's 4.8 . Because the bezel definitely looks like S3. That's my guess though. 4.8
[deleted post]All software inside Samsung can be found in playstore? Can you tell us, then, the name of the apps in playstore that can replace the hover function of the Airview and the multiwindow splitscreen-multitasking?? Well?
Anonymous, 20 May 2013No! Everyone is following Sony. Frist colorish phone is Sony Ericsson T610. And Nokia just has... morethe first phone with colorful design/casing is Nokia 8210 released in 1999. Do some reasarch before posting. Haha
Anonymous, 20 May 2013Whos sebastian? I think you troll to much now you're getting confused. If xz is outdated why i... moreI think he just made that name up? Maybe it means something to him, doesn't matter.
What I need to say is, I'm not sure if XZ has Sola's floating touch, or if it does but exactly the same. But I do know that Sola's floating touch is crap compared to what Samsung did. It's nothing more than entertainment. My friend has one and since it took him a long time to download games, we played with the smoke wallpaper for fun. I told him I read Sola's review and that GSMArena said that it's only useful in web browsing, so I told him to try that. Guess what? He can't figure out how it works. SO even if it does, it's so hard to notice that it's probably nothing at all!
Anonymous, 20 May 2013Then why are you on xz threads? I just iterated some facts and you're firing some steamy crap.... moreThe floating touch on Xperia Sola is NOT the same with the Airview on the S4 or the Notes or the Mega. The floating touch is for navigating through the interface only, the Airview on the other hand, is not for navigating. The Airview is for previewing the contents of folders or calendar, or previewing the implementation of a surten effect to a picture on a picture editing app, it made your finger (or stylus on the Note II) function like a mouse on a pc. None of those functions is on floating touch tech of Sony. O, there's also a function of previewing a surten point of a video by hovering your finger (stylus) on the video timeline.
well to a point yea quite easily, of course unless you need a pc for computer specific tasks, but the majority of people do not do much more and there are apps that do most things, on my s4, i can make music, download any files, torrents, edit photos on the fly, play high end games, not pc quality of course but still very graphical, watch tv, radio sky, sports, maps navigation, various other tasks, there will of course always be a place for pc and laptops, but that gap is forever shrinking, the only reason i actually still have a laptop is for dj and photo editing, it is easier and the software is more advanced. for many people though a computer is really no longer neccesery.
Samsung tries to beat the Xperia Z in every department because they feel threatened by it. But Samsung's efforts are futile. Xperia Z won't go down that easily.
afzal81, 20 May 2013Wow really? Galaxy note can replace pc? Lol... He said "close to".
the red accents look pretty badass
id prefer this over the actual s4
Guy, 20 May 2013It says 480dpi, not ppi. That's not the same. S4 has a 480dpi screen as well. What exactly is the difference? I know that ppi means pixel per inch and that dpi means dots per inch, but aren't dots and pixels the same in this case?
Rick, 20 May 2013Nah... Sony is a tech giant compared to Samsung... it's just that Samsung is very aggressive i... moreYou don't think that Samsung is a tech giant? Can you tell me a smartphone that is so close to replace the funtionality of PC plus it has Wacom digitizer embedded? I can, it's called the Samsung Galaxy Note II. And wait till the Note 3 comes out, you'll then know what a tech giant Samsung really is. My friend, marketing, no matter how great it is, will never make a product great. Marketing can only highlight what the product really is.
