Congratulations HTC, I hope this milestone will help keep the brand afloat.
I'd certainly love a smaller screen variant, somehow I like my phones compact. A bigger screen would also do wonders for sales because there seems to be a multitude of people who like it bigger and better.
I must say however that HTC needs a serious overhaul of their strategy especially in terms of the companies they partner with and approach to design which is quickly following Apple in terms of being restrictive. In the hands of Microsoft the company earned more haters than supporters due to poorly perfoming devices courtesy of Windows Mobile, repeatedly they've stuck on this Facebook theme with phones either dedicated to FB or with hardware that's FB, a strategy which seems to fail. Now their phones are becoming more and more anti Android in terms of lack of expandable memory and restrictive software like this nonsense media sync.
Take a hint HTC, with Google you're golden; everything else must come second. Samsung has nailed this and while I may not lime them as a brand I can't help but respect their approach to business.
it will be quite a big phone, the current htc one is bigger then the s4 with a smaller screen, there is not really much usable space on the current version and if it is made of aluminium its gonna be a heavy device, funny how many people were slagging the galaxy claiming its screen was to big even though it was smaller then s3, i would focus more on adding an sd slot, that would really help sales more then increasing screen size.
That's a stunner...can't wait to hear more on it...come on HTC announce it official soon with the release too...
mostly they are looking to take on note II but with out pen it will be useless
4.7 in best size but if htc wants to increase size its better that be 6inch maybe like note3..
snap 800 then very perfect ..
like one in every size.
make a less expencive eddition of htc one and then see the magic of this magic.
