Received it here in Australia and now my phone A23 cannot connect to any network. Samsung needs phone sent to them for their tech to review, no replacement phone in the meantime, very unhelpful and inconvenient. .

If the users were lucky, they got only 1 line. Some cases were so bad that whole screen were filled with lines. The only way to rectify the issue was to get a screen replacement.

realgoodgame, 26 Dec 2023This phone has an LCD display so no burn-inStill get same sort of issues with lcds, ive had multiple lcd screens with image retention, just a myth lcds dont get these types of issues (they just wont get the actual burn in).
Lcd was just cheaper and more efficient than old CRTs, they arent reliable or even that good (which is why you now see mini led/micro led with different backlighting tech to compensate for massive drawbacks.

Sadly burn-in is hardware problem caused by the software. Something that needs a new display. Especially because they didn't fix the software bug in the final beta.

justasmile, 26 Dec 2023It apparently will be fixed in January 2024 patch.The bug, yes. The damaged screen, need new screen. Software can't fix burn-in. Outside of Scandinavia Samsung will change the screen after the fix. But here in Scandinavia Samsung doesn't care about it. With care+ subscription it will be fixed. Without the subscription, it needs to be payed.
