Dude, you want a camera, BUY ONE, don't act smart here !
This is a PHONE, other functions are SECONDARY !
Even the 2010 iPhone 4 takes better photos than the HTC One!
(change "No scaling" to "Scale to 5MP" for accurate results)
Well... If the htc one is released with AOSP to purchase then im sure it wont take much to bring it over to the current ones since it is the same exact phone.
Then buy 64gb from HTC and you can brag you have the greatest internal storage phone running google stock!
Im not an HTC fanatic, but I think this is a great move!
Keep it up HTC!
AnonD-151027, 31 May 2013I am sure this would increase the sales of HTC. are you sure?
now thats what i hate about all these phones... alwayz releases in US or EU... they forget that most people in the world are asian...
lolza, 31 May 2013really cool htc ! hope samsung does the same. and others follow. and it's no loss to not have ... moreHasn't samsung already said a pure android version s4 is on its way, seems like every time I read something samsung is marketing, that htc and lg have decided, quick look, samsung have reported they're gonna do this or that, lets post the same idea within days even tho we have no available product so we can be in the publics mind, till we rush something out after the proven successfull direction samsung is going.Don't mean to be cheeky but your speaking as if htc had this idea themselves, when really a failing company has decided the only way left to go forward is to try and mirror a leading competitor.

really cool htc ! hope samsung does the same. and others follow. and it's no loss to not have those special apps. you can just install other like them, or even maybe copy them from a phone to another.
It would be a gr8 option of Samsung to do the same.. with both of their variant of S4
