And Samsung copied Motorola by making mobile phones. What's your point?
I hope Sony doesn't plan on making this phablet with that huge screen bezel pictured there.
sammyrules, 01 Jun 2013Samsung has changed the Smartphone market. All manufacturers nwdays copy Samsung display size.... moreAre you drunk or something? Increasing screen sizes doesn't have to do anything with copying. By your logic, I can say Nokia was the first one to invent mobile phones and other Manufactures are just copying what Nokia invented from day one.
You sure need to quit that fanboysm or yours. It sounds insane....
Samsung has changed the Smartphone market. All manufacturers nwdays copy Samsung display size...starting with note 2, nw Sony, HTC are in race of making Phablets...Long live Samsung...
nw its a proof Samsung is copied by all smartphone manufacturers.
Camera shake ?? Have you guys heard of something called focus and depth of field ?
One of the biggest problem of nokia, apple or blackberry slow market is that screen is too small. I think 5.5 to 6 inch are the best screen sizes n dont go anything beyond it looks like a brick
I would love to see a Nokia Phablet. The design is already awesome so there would be no need to change it. Specially if the design would be like Nokia Lumia 925.
Jared, 01 Jun 2013Yup. I agree with that, I used Xperia S before, even the device is not so big, the sharp edges... moreyeah right..all companies should learn from samsung..to make curvy phones...
Oh sorry they are not different but they are utilizing each and every inch of their plastic by making different curvy sizes phone..
The-S, 01 Jun 2013Everybody is following what Samsung started,,,wooooosh........ Look who,s talking.. Sammy has copied all the features frm iphn, nokia, htc , sony, lg n even moto... Nd guess what people say its innovating( my foot) , its killing innovation vid all the cheap plastic n copied stuff.....btw sony n nokia will gonna create quite a stir vid all that phablet stuff......all the best to both...now thats what i called a healthy competition.....
xili, 01 Jun 20136.4' is too big for me, looking forward to Sony Honami. Anyway, hope Sony and Nokia can end... moreSony and Nokia were dominating and very popular before for their feature phones to the world not much in US, now one is owned by Microsoft and the other is an Android follower. Maybe they'll find success again in another OS and then there's always the overhyped Iphone to compete.

Hope Sony and Nokia can success on these two phablet like Samsung
Anonymous, 31 May 2013lel everybody copying samsungI guess it is Samsung that copies every OEM's technologies. Sammy's Air gesture was copied from Sony's Xperia Sola and U's floating touch technology. The eye detection and dual shot came from LG, Find my Samsung device copied Find my iPhone. So who copied? lol
why not?, 31 May 2013If the Sony comes with a TFT, I'll keep my money. It was said by a person that got interviewed from Sony Philippines according to GSM Arena that the next flagship phones from Sony will bid goodbye to the TFT technology but instead will use the Triluminos Technology that the company uses for their Smart TVs. I too was thinking on skipping the Honami if it will use the same TFT screen but I guess I will be buying it this time and will change my One X plus with it. :)
6.4' is too big for me, looking forward to Sony Honami.
Anyway, hope Sony and Nokia can end Samsung + Apple domination
Farhad Cyrus, 31 May 2013what about honami? 6.44" is too big. 5.5" is fine. Togari is a phablet which has somewhere around 6"+ screen and Honami on the other hand is a device with a rumored 5' screen also with a 1080p resolution and both were said to be powered by a Snapdragon 800 chipset that will be clocked at 2.3 GHz. :)
INDROID, 01 Jun 2013if they make regular rectangular design then it will be hard to fit in pockets n will look ver... moreYup. I agree with that, I used Xperia S before, even the device is not so big, the sharp edges will make you feel uncomfortable when you put in the pocket. They should make the edges curvy.
