"SAMSUNG LENS"... They could've at least used a proper Zeiss lens.
..well, any typical samdung fanboy/fangirl will call this as innovation, and they will mock nokia pureview 808 and EOS as fat brick...lol
...lumia EOS may have design issues, but this is the worst smartphone design I have ever seen...even my nokia 808 is much sexier than this!!!
Obvious information is missing: Is the battery user replaceable just like its cousin S4? This "Zoom" version would attract camera users which depletes battery much faster than cell phone users, so, a replaceable battery to exchange in the middle of a shoot is much more important.
So, this MUTANT MONSTER is confirmed?! OMG, it's freakingly Ugly...Nokia, I always did, but today I love you even more!
AnonD-154942, 12 Jun 2013It does not have optical zoom. It has "lossless" zoom when used in the PureView mode... moreIn Nokia 808 zoom is done through the lens, not software, so it's optical, not digital zoom like other phones. You lose over-sampling only at maximum 12x zoom, otherwise at 11x zoom over-sampling still works. I know cause i have Nokia 808, get informed more.
AnonD-147377, 12 Jun 2013Stop whining like a little baby! Samsung smashed Nokia camera toys and end of the story.LOL to you! Nokia EOS means anything to you? Sorry but I have nothing else to say! See for yourself!
darksantacruz, 12 Jun 2013Ugly as hell but it's a Samsung what was expected? No thanks!Stop whining like a little baby!
Samsung smashed Nokia camera toys and end of the story.
look the specification are good .good os .battery longivity bla bla. but is too big we are in generation of SLIME DIVICE.
If I want a smartphone, I'll buy a smartphone. And if I want a camera for shooting professional pics, I'll buy one as well. Fortunately for us, they've already combined the both. Been doing it for years too. And they all look a hell of a lot better than this. This is just an exaggerated attempt to reinvent the wheel..
AnonD-73765, 12 Jun 2013I reckon this is jst an experimental device 4m Samsung n it falls in no man's land - it's neit... moreYes an experimental device for an experimental buyer. Base on what you are saying, I wonder who is going to spend their hard earn money and at the same time be a guinea pig ?
if they will do this to S4 or Note II then it will be much better then doing it to S4 mini... I hope they will come up with this experiment on original S4 and Note III...
