Haha ive seen this coming! Whats next htc one+???
Im very happy that i preferred s4 over one.
Ps: i owned htc one x, so i had enough with htc. Call me fanboy all you want :p
HTC Butterfly S launched find out more with first look video! http://goo.gl/0SV2B
I mean an option that lets you disable or even better uninstall Blinkfeed, sorry.
If HTC provide an update to disable Blinkfeed entirely, I might choose this one as my next phone. That software stopped me buying the HTC One, despite the phone itself being really nice.
i want this! great job HTC... big battery, microSD support, fhd and so on...
I have the HTC One and in no way does this kill the One. Metal body, higher ppi, and the fact that this Butterfly S may never be raleased world wide. It will probably make it to the US but only on Verizon because the were the only carrier to get the first Butterfly coined the DNA by Verizon.
Anonymous, 19 Jun 2013and because its HTC it will have the most awful battery in its class as per usual...What are talking about? Think before you write such stupid things. This is one of the biggest batteries in this class of phone. Smells like samsung fanboy.
Anonymous, 19 Jun 2013and because its HTC it will have the most awful battery in its class as per usual...I think u r sick......bcoz 3200 mah battery is all it matters.........when HTC used to provide 2000 mah u people used to say come on HTC improve the mah of battery ...........n now whn they did this by increasing it by more than 3000 mah u don't want to accept it ..............really sick
and because its HTC it will have the most awful battery in its class as per usual...
Hextor, 19 Jun 2013No more ultrapixel cameras, please... HTC doesn't learn I guess.Totally agreed. 'UltraPixel' is just a marketing term coined by HTC. It is simply a 4 MP camera with bigger size pixels, thus the name. Low light performance is good but in normal condition, samples are crappy. Why cant it get sharper image in normal conditions?
now HTC has a superb line-up of smartphone .......dersire series for mid range .......butterfly series for professionals..........n the one series for all ..............n now I guess rumored t6.....will complete the phablet lack ..:............HTC rock .....sorry Sammy for another blow .........n those who say that HTC is killing itself ...blah blah blah .........jaleous ...Hehehe........
While I do welcome anything that can rival the One, didn't fully expect that this Butterfly S to be the fierce sibling. Specs-wise it's a done deal. Batt + Micro SD + same APQ8064AB SoC as S4 I9505 (key diff to APQ8064T on One and all the rest SD600 phones; AB are the only one capable to be clocked at 1.9Ghz). Equally a nice surprise and yet also a questionable move on HTC's part.
It's not necessary to piss off One's adopters. Now the only clear advantage there is the alum unibody but not much else. If I were HTC I'd take this lesson to heart moving on forward.

Anonymous, 19 Jun 2013True. Camera modes have a lot to do with it and it and it could've been after the update.Oh yes very true, I forgot that the htc got a camera update, thanks for pointing that out :-)
Anonymous, 19 Jun 2013No dude it cannot. While it is good and HTC gets props for having the first one it is not quit... moreMaybe you're right but the camera on this phone is far more better than most of the 8 MP cameras on Chinese phones. The camera would have been better if it was a 13 MP ultra pixel one. Anyways, this phone is good but HTC outdated their flagship with this one.
