HTC Touch Pro all the way for me. I am not a fan of this phone even though it was designed and made by HTC themselves.
Do not let your pet use the internet (or strange comments may happen)!
Billion of people know the best phone ever released is Xperia x1. It’s a perfect phone. Still I’m using K700i more than three and half years. It’s working fine and no idea to throw it. I love Xperia. I’m really happy it already selling. But I haven’t money to buy Xperia X1. I’m not sad, because it’s enough to watch this phone ever for me. Long life Xperia………………..
Patrick, 13 Oct 2008Someone pls enlighten us... Is the X1 RAM 394MB or 256MB??? The released White Paper from SE o... moreDude... whichever you choose... Xperia or HTC Touchpro... both are manufactured by HTC... some... same difference... they are both great!!
An SE made by HTC... Hmm... I'm sticking to TouchPro... Better yet... I'm going for the HD...
For those who understand, a New Step in mobile phone world, Panels instead of regular old icons !!! History ?
Can anyone tell me why exactly you think the Omnia is the beter phone?? Just curieus....
Still, it,ll be an X1 for me next week... Glad the first ones are the silver ones.
And for peeps who have more questions, I posted some inf two days back in this forum, go check it out ;)
i think it is a good phone and a good coming by sony ericcsson in touch pad phone
MNA, 13 Oct 2008tried the XPERIA yesterday.. even tho bulky it has attractive design and good quality keyboard... more1 second not that long! ,what is more faster than 1 second?? Of course rival brands diehard fans will find it slow(in their mind).
Basicline is there'll be 384mb ram, if I would believe these rumors...

hi guys i have a news..yesterday i went to retail store, they said dont buy X1 which has 256MB RAM because that is Commercial prototype not retail version and SE gave that commercial version just to demo..then i saw the IMEI and ROM date iam suprised these was the same with yours it means your x1 is still prototype. they said final product will be sold in monday (13oct) and there is no final product before the date...
the final version will have 384MB RAM with new ROM version
From what I've heard its 384mb ram. Only 256mb visible and 128mb available for CPU/3D.
From Tracy and Matt's blog:
What's the in-call sound quality like?
In-call the X1 is ok. There's plenty of volume from the speaker meaning that I don't need to have it set to maximum. The speaker itself is also reasonably good.
What is the actual RAM in the device?
The X1 has 384 MB RAM but you'll note that the device information screen says 256MB. This is because the X1 also has an additional 128MB RAM that's only accessible to the CPU/3D chip.
The version I tried earlier last week didn't have that slowdown in starting the apps...
As for the difference with the Omnia, has anyone of you Omnia lovers taken a minute to look up the differences between the two...??
Noticed the difference in pixels? The X1 has a far better resolution. Besides, the Omnia is part WinMo, part widgets, and nothing much as a whole. But hey, that's my opinion, after selling tons of em..
Furthermore, there's been no one I know in the last couple of years that has bought a WinMo phone for the sake of the camera..
I mean come on people, just buy what you like. There's only one Iphone, and it's great in what it does. Comparing the two is absolutely crazy...
Pick what you like, and respect others for their choice..
We'd all be walking with the same phone if we were all the same, right?? ;)
omnia, xperia and iphone. The omnia is well rounded but pretty much only good for novice phone users-its idiot friendly. xperia has good functionality but defnatly lacks in computing power. Iphone is an awsome device, dont know why there so many people on the bandwagon sayin its pathetic jus cause of no forwarding sms, no mms sending no camera controls and no java, for the rest its seriously awsome?!?! Have a nice day gsm fans.
tried the XPERIA yesterday.. even tho bulky it has attractive design and good quality keyboard - BUT . . . and a big BUT - very slow response to keystrokes. Once a application window is chosen it has a delay well over a second, when it is loaded its still low resolution and takes further couple of seconds to render everything in hi res... Im sorry but this just dont cut it.. I thought a premium phone in this segment should at least be faster than my €70 Nokia 2630... sorry SE, even iphone is better in responsiveness
Windows Mobile ,panels instead of regular old icons ,focus touch camera ,800 x 480 pixels ( sharpest eye catching display around ),longest battery life monster .....that's the Xperia !!!! psp phone ???
