samsung's fans are rationalizing while the critics take the opportunity to say anything to mock samsung and its loyal consumers.
8534209, 22 Jun 2013I would be upset too if I owned an S4. This is why I don't own a Samsung phone. Coming up with... moreHow much the phone is worth in your own opinion ruins the experience for you if it's not enough. Even if it works amazing and the user experience is good?
I love your logic
brynn, 21 Jun 2013Samsung could ship 100 million s4 does not mean they have sold that many..I have not seen anyo... morewow man u live in the tropical rain forest with wild animals?? or with polar bears on the arctic?? or may be with penguins in the antarctic?? nope... okey now i got it... u live in the sea/ocean where S4 cannot be used....!!!! ;) its absolutely not ur fault coz S4 is used by human beings, not by wild or marine animals... no wonder u havent seen any of the S4 till now... do u even know how it looks???
It's Korea only, but I also think they should wait a year and chill. Or just use the faster chipset and LTE-A in the Note 3. I agree that this "variant" of the S4 is a silly idea.
It's kinda like the Iphone 5S came out 2 or 3 months after the Iphone 5.
gilbs, 22 Jun 2013It's come to this. Consumerism at its worst. It's no longer based on needs but on ego. People ... moreLol can't blame them :D they want the latest and greatest. Samsung is just using the opportunity
I would be upset too if I owned an S4. This is why I don't own a Samsung phone. Coming up with newer models/versions in short spans of time lowers the value of older models/versions. And that diminishes the ownership experience. The company doesn't seem to care for this.
brynn, 21 Jun 2013Samsung could ship 100 million s4 does not mean they have sold that many..I have not seen anyo... moreTo ship them is to have sold them. No one ship anything out without a purchase order. Very standard practice.
Anonymous, 22 Jun 2013You should be bothered because in a week your phone will paced out. That specs of s4 and exper... moreThe Galaxy S4 was already outdated before it came out, it's too light and thin, it's like a plastic case filled with air, because it lacks wireless charging, xenon flash and OIS, unlike Lumia 928. Also Galaxy S4 is made of very thin and cheap plastic that breaks easily, unlike Lumia 928's polycarbonate which is used in bullet proof glass. Also Galaxy S4 has one cheap and light microphone, while Lumia 928 has 3 HAAC high ampitude microphones.
It's come to this. Consumerism at its worst. It's no longer based on needs but on ego. People buying gadgets for the wrong reasons. They find security in having the best toys!? The world needs to see a shrink.
swm, 21 Jun 2013So silly. I have the normal S4 and a 1.9ghz quad 600 is perfectly fine. I'm not bothered about... moreYou should be bothered because in a week your phone will paced out. That specs of s4 and experience you saying are automatically ancient & fossil once a new version has announced or release. Your s4 is already old and needs a replacement wether you just bought it last week or month.
How much faster is this one? It loads Facebook or Twitter 0,004 seconds faster? If you have the "old" one, good. If you are going to wait for the "new" one, also good. If you have a phone that is loading the same page a second slower, also good, your life doesn't depend on it unless you have no life. Download speeds also depend more on what you can get (2G, 3G coverage, wifi etc) than on the phone. I would never buy anything right after the release anyway, it's always better to wait a few months for bug fixes.
Ixon, 21 Jun 2013Samsung would have been better keeping this to the Note III,than launching another S4 with bet... moreThats too slow for.samsung, samsungs wants every new stuff on a smartphone as much as possible and release it on variants every week!
Dorian, 21 Jun 2013YES Sammy! Talk to the haters, WHO IS THE GOD in mobile world :DApple.
Silver, 22 Jun 2013Samsung is delivering CHOICES to the Consumers also if i had the ORIGINAL S4 i wouldn't worry ... moreThe point is it also runs on a more powerful chipset, and this only two months after SGS4 release. How would you like your phone to be completely renewed only after 2 months.
It sort of demonstrates Samsung's attitude towards its customers. Sales are already disappointing by the way, and Samsung are probably already starting to lose customers as this attitude isn't new.
Good thing comes to those who wait or just watching everyone drooling on every new smartphone releases every week lol
