because here in Pakistan second market is quite high..... for example s3 perfect condition would be 340-360$
glad if same offer introduces in India, i want to hands off my bloody Nokia 920.
Nokia is running out of time with WP OS. Nokia must quickly switch to Android OS in this year. Nokia is making a very well known hardware. Android OS would give Nokia to produce more phone models per year, faster, cheaper, lighter and thinner with its latest camera technology. Nokia still have a chance to come back #1. God bless Nokia :-)
So... My P920 Optimus 3D is worth a whole $35,-... I think for that money, I just rather keep it and buy a new Android device, rather than a Lumia phone.
Nokia have got to change there attitude towards phones, there Symbian phones offered memory card slots an removable batteries, but since with the Microsoft partnership they have tried to copy Apples design,as that's what Microsoft is trying to compete with, the Tiles are very annoying as with Symbian we got loads of themes to download,so until they change there stratedgy Samsung will keep miles away ahead of Nokia
MdN, 29 Jun 2013Did anyone try that link? It says I can get $30 for my N8 in great condition, haha. Find me an... moreYeah, it is always like this where this kind of trading is used. Even with cars. Is better to sell your device on eBay and buy the phone you want:).
lolza, 29 Jun 2013Actually WAIT. here are the figures : http://crave.cnet.co.uk/mobiles/samsung-galaxy-s3-bre... moreYou can buy a Chinese quad core Android phone with 13 megapixels for 200 Euro. Two years from now you will have one, love it, and you will be saying that Samsung is a loser. Now go away.
Did anyone try that link? It says I can get $30 for my N8 in great condition, haha. Find me an N8 at that price and I'll buy five of them.
lolza, 29 Jun 2013all right conspiracy man..you can live under a rock as much as you want..in the meanwhile the ... moreSlow down little Troll. For you Nokia is not important, is dead, blah blah blah... Then, why are you sweating? Just... be gone, see if someone here misses your trollness! Stop spamming respected Nokia forums with your useless crap. Now, go brag about it where somebody really cares.
Android fans ready to insult in 3, 2, 1 ... No matter what I do Nokia, for them is always going to be bad. Nokia never ceased to be a leading-edge company, its smartphones are much better than any other company materials are shielded phone, and when Windows Phone, is a new system, with a little more time will be better than Android I'm sure. Besides, it's a good thing there are not on Android systems so there is a choice, because what the fans prefer is that Android is the only salable system, and that other companies fall into bankruptcy, do not understand.
Nokia must rather focus on bringing those missing features that Symbian had on their phones than offering such irrationale trade up programs. They don't need to go Android, they don't need to make stupid marketing, just update wp os making it flexible for the users and giving more chip power. Come on Nokia (Microsoft), except camera, build quality and exclusive apps, you must bring a proper file manager, customizable homescreen mode, unlimited shortcuts and notification menus, high level multitasking, system control panel, bigger than 4.5'' sleek devices, numerous multimedia formats support, superior benchmarks, big battery, and here you are the success, no need for stupid commercial campaigns.
lolza, 29 Jun 2013Actually WAIT. here are the figures : http://crave.cnet.co.uk/mobiles/samsung-galaxy-s3-bre... moreits great now you are a RACER, do you remember who thought you how to walk i.e. yor Respected Father (and father always a father) what was your first mobile where you learn dialing a number sending a text set a alarm/reminder playing snake NOKIA BAAP father
A ridiculous idea, if they sent the customer the card in the form of a voucher for money off the handset it would be much better than the customer having to lay out for the phone first. get a grip Nokia. You've lost, lay down and die with some dignity.
Anonymous, 29 Jun 2013Where did you see Samsung's sales figures? I've seen their shipped figures, which means it's ... moreActually WAIT. here are the figures :
Galaxy S 1 sold 24 million
Galaxy S 2 sold 40 million
Galaxy S 3 sold 40 million and still sells (shipped 50mil)
Galaxy S 4 sold 10 million in first 25 days alone, and are aiming for 80 mil total, even if they only get 40+ million as S3 it's still vastly more than lumia with a few million.
HTC One sold 5 million in first month.
How's lumia selling ? Hahahahahaha
Sansung sold 100.600.000 phones in 1st quarter of 2013, out of that 64+mil are androids. nokia came second with 60.000.000 out of which only 6.5 mil are wp+symbian.
Now what smart guy ?
Anonymous, 29 Jun 2013Where did you see Samsung's sales figures? I've seen their shipped figures, which means it's ... moreall right conspiracy man..you can live under a rock as much as you want..in the meanwhile the rest of the planet knows that samsung is selling tens of millions of s3 and tens of millions of s4 and also a ton of millions of all they're other phone : ace, ace plus, mini, mini2 , ace 3, young, etc etc..millions of SOLD phones...not shipped.
shipped phones are only in the mind of fanboys liek you that want ot believe that nokia is still important.
nokia is not important, nokia cant compete with huawey, let alone sony or lg or htc or samsung. nokia is lame with a caital L LAME. outsolf by every manufacturer, even micromax HAHAHAHA
nokia is trying every second way to increase their sales volume.....but they are not as good as samsung in applying all these techniques of emi,exchange,advertisment,freebies...etc.
lolza, 29 Jun 2013says who ? You ?
Well samsung's sales figures shows you are clueless. Go bakc to you 3310.... moreWhere did you see Samsung's sales figures? I've seen their shipped figures, which means it's in the channel and may not be sold for the next six months. If you've found their actual sales figures that would be a great resource.
Samsung's "sales" figures are also a reflection of their ridiculously massive marketing budget.
potatosalad, 29 Jun 2013you know what, Nokia should not focus on US market anymore. US market are no longer key market... moreOh, I'd love to hear your explanation about why "Asia", a large mulit-country region with lower per capita income that mostly pays full price for its phones upfront, is a better and more lucrative market than the US, with it's carrier subsidized model and all that comes with it.
