Mobilemaster, 10 Jul 2013I agree with you. Their smart phones looks the same, and their specs are not for 2013. Dual Co... moreHigher MP count = worse IQ.

10MP is plenty enough, so let's just hope they opt for a large enough sensor. If they now use Kodak's clear pixel technology as rumored on the sensor, this will be truly great.

i dont know why motorola under-specs it's devices. especially physical qwerty models. what dont you get motorola/?? max that baby out with technology. why the underachieving mediocrity?? you expect ppl to choose a physical qwerty which is underspecced in comparison to the maxed out tablet fones.. blah.. im giving mot till the end of the year to announce a physical qwerty with topped out specs. if nothing is mentioned, im going with a china model qwerty device from fastcardtech.

max out the specs, i dont care about price.

Anonymous, 10 Jul 2013Nice snaps but nowhere near as good as Nokia 808 and won't be near as Nokia Lumia 1020. yes definately does not deserve the nomenclature of "ultra camera"

The image samples are ok, but compared to the likes of the SG4, it is not as good. Not sure if the name "ultra camera" should be used for this device

Those rumored specs you listed are incorrect. Those specs are of the last generation RAZR HD and RAZR Maxx HD. The rumored specs are a snapdragon 800, 1080p 5" display, and and 32gb and 64gb capacities.

Anonymous, 10 Jul 2013Nice snaps but nowhere near as good as Nokia 808 and won't be near as Nokia Lumia 1020. Of course not, and NOT from Moto. They can not make a super camera phone, and Nokia is the king of camera phones. After them probably comes Samsung(except some Japanese companies, such as Sharp and Fujitsu).

I have quickly realised that so many people on this site are simply plain ignorant. This is clearly an excellent phone from a very, very good manufacturer/brand. The specs are yet to be finalised yet you appear so quick to judge, condemn and consign to the tag of "also ran" or "epic fail". Have you never heard of "proof of the pudding is in the eating?" or "innocent till proven guilty!". Give the company and the phone a chance, you never know it might just surprise you!!! Also who is to say that this is the top of the line model??? It could just be the starting point of the "Ultras", they may decide to launch a "Ultra Xs" or a "Ultra Xsi" only time will tell, but some of you should try to be more reasonable, less bias and frankly less ignorant. Come on Motorola we are not all against you and hope you stick to your ethos of "Quality, Relability, Form and Function". Good luck Moto!!!
