The previous Nokia poorview may have great camera but sold only few, means people don't really go much for camera but rather to the overall functionality.
I hope Nokia will not go bankrupt . But just hope, as by announce this device, they are killing themself .
Heretic, 11 Jul 2013I like Nokia, it's in my top 3 mobile manufacturers (Nokia, Motorola & LG) it's not abo... moreI couldn't disagree with you more. Out of all my Phone OS experience (Symbian, iOS, Android, WP) Android would rank as the least user friendly, closely followed by Symbian. iOS would be on top with WP close behind in second place.
I like Nokia, it's in my top 3 mobile manufacturers (Nokia, Motorola & LG)
it's not about the amount of pixels, or the specs, nor the design (altough the LUMIA design it's already getting kind of boring), but for me the BIG letdown is the OS.
So far i've been using Symbiam, Android, iOS and Windows Phone. The least pleasant experience for me as a user was with the Windows Phone, it just feels "dumb" and not very user friendly.
I wish Nokia would release these LUMIA phones with an alternative OS, i know Android will never be an option for Nokia, but at least Asha or something like that. IMO Windows Phone it's a huge let down and i just don't think i'll be buying a nokia phone while they keep releasing with the WP OS.
Front view of the phone looks nice, but the back - due to the 41Mp sensor - is weird. I'm not sure I would like such a phone, even if it has excellent specs.
Jack, 11 Jul 2013An other Nokia N9..hahahahaha Where are people complaining about samsung or HTC using the sam... moreThey aren't complaining about the same design, they're complaining about the ugly design
Forget the processor, etc.
Let's just highlight the two glaring omissions from this supposed flagship...
The incredibly poor battery... considering the xenon, etc.
No expandable micro SD - despite LOWER models having this functionality...
Now mix that with large HD videos, etc. and a good chunk of your 32gb gone - so in reality - maybe 24gb if you're lucky (you never get that in reality)...
And you're already handicapped before you've even started...
I just don't understand why Nokia can't get this right... this is their THIRD ITERATION OF THE SAME PHONE AND THEY STILL CAN'T PUT AN SD SLOT IN IT - IN A 41MP CAMERA PHONE!!!! I want to move from Android to Windows, and Nokia is the obvious choice...
But until they give me expandable memory and a much more decent battery - forget it... maybe next year, if they're still around...
An other Nokia N9..hahahahaha
Where are people complaining about samsung or HTC using the same designe for their phones?
Thick bezel around the screen.this is same in width as of xperia z,but xperia z packs a 5"display amd it had 4.5".while i like the camera but again a dual core cpu.it would be better if they fit snapdragon800 andreno 330 gpu will make full use of its camera by recording 4k.....i m waiting for sony i1 honami.
It's not for the lady-like smallish and weak of hands, or for those who don't want the phone for its size. The size and weight is fine by me considering the cam module that's inside it. It's quite a compromise as the last great camphone (PV808) was bulkier with virtually the same sensor plus the 1020 has OIS.
Anonymous, 11 Jul 2013You honestly think bookia phones doesn't lag? LOL if you have ever used a wp,you would know that no,they don't lag..
after 15 years of been fanboy nokia i'll leave for Sony! it's not about hardver specs it's about ecosystem. I'm fine with my Ipad4 and my new Xperia V! same specs as 925 plus IP 55/57
They should of made it powered by Meego, Windows Mobile died before Symbian, they just brought it back to life as Windows Phone.
And the creators of Meego, updated it to Sailfish, Which can also run Android apps, plus it looks much smoother.
Disappointed... Nokia Lumia is just a camera with a screen on its back.
Anonymous, 11 Jul 2013You honestly think bookia phones doesn't lag? LOL I'm not sure what this bookia is, probably some Android phone (It sounds just like Raditz), but Lumias don't lag, anyway
Those who are crying about the cores and processor, guys it is windows OS not laggy Android which requires 8 cores to run a mobile phone :D
p.s I am using Android at the moment and will get this monster soon ;)
