Moto X seems lighter, slim with a curved back that can be nice to hold and pocket. The JB 4.3 update is coming and probably optimized to run on dual cores to save some battery. I'm N4 owner and looking forward to this update! I'm also hoping they fix the refresh issue, for example a game has to be paused not refresh after answering a call. Also the browser refreshes whenever I go back to a page where I wrote something, caused me to lose all of it.

Does it it really matter if its a dual core phone as long as the software works perfect with the hardware. The fact of the matter is most people don't care. iPhone and windows phone have proven that they work really well with continually upping cores only Android users keeping thing its needed that. If Google market this right and and make it cheap it will be a hit. And personally I like the fact that pure Android will be out there for me people to use.

All this hype for a dual core phone? You gotta be kidding! Google and Motorola have to do better than that if they want to get market share. Once this is out, there'll be several snapdragon 800 phones on the market and people won't even be interested in the X.

It doesnt look like a htc actually is looks much better than a htc... What you guys need to realise is that all cellphones to day looks the same and all does the same thing. So just because Eric Schmidt was seen with one it doesnt mean its the best phone on the market.

motto, 12 Jul 2013the last time I owned a Motorola smartphone, they repeatedly promised updates, missed their ow... moreMoto is now owned by Google, so expect all moto x to be google play edition aka vanilla android.
So you will get those promised updates.

I am not intrested in any Motorola products since it's been owned by Google. No Motorola ever and by the way this phone looks like the HTC One. Well that's not a problem, almost every manufactrurers are following the new trend- copying.

I bet this phone is so comfy to hold. That curved back panel like in the HTC is the most palm-friendly shape.
