moki, 12 Jul 2013I really hope it is the aluminium nokia device leaked recently . If it's aluminium, we may not see NFC and wireless charging capability.

My comment to this article is "Same story! One year later(at least)!". In fact, quad cores AND 1080p screens were on Android phones since November last year, so if it comes in 2014 is more than one year late. I winder how the Android phones will look by then. About iPhones, they are behind now but for them is easy to recover, they control both the OS and the hardware of the iPhone.
Gelvin, 12 Jul 2013Actually, this phablet will come later this year. In 2013, you can say 2014. About high specs... moreHey repost that article again and again alot of folks are unaware of the truth so enlighten them thanks bro
Can someone help me why the persons with Androids bash Nokia and Blackberry that their specifications are outdated yet NOTHING about IPhone

second of all, there's HUNDREDS of android phones released every year that dont have the latest hardware. samsung announces flagships, then 3 months later, releases 6 versions of the same phone with crapier hardware (mini, CDMA version, mini LTE, blah blah blah).. heck, they released the stupid mega series which is running DUAL CORE s400 processor when they have quadcore.. with a 720p LCD SCREEN!
so dont come here running your big mouth like you know exactly where windows is going.

In fact, is more impressive the WP road path than the Android one, WP has growing in many ways incredibly fast, Android is getting stuck, I see WP phones even with 2013 specs for the 2014 is going to have a more mature hardware experience and Microsoft will restructure all the platforms.
In Fact Microsoft is looking forward in many areas including mobility GDR2 and GDR3 will be an clear example of Microsoft interest in developing the WP to a more extreme market.
And Android will still experimenting with their users in the research for an smooth and stable OS.
This is what they should have done a year ago to gain a foothold in smartphone space.
windows is dominating when it comes to simplicity and elegance

Isnt it funny how all the wp fandows slated android and samsung, htc etc for bringing out quad core devices. Now look there all celebrating as if theve got something new.Sad and another wp flop
with no apps and no games this quad-core will be useless + boring big tiles OS OMG!

What I'm afraid of and i hope it doesn't happen is that Nokia might not put that amazing Camera from the l1020 in this 5+ phone. I hope they do cos they i might even sleep in from of the store to be the first to get it on launch day. the l1020 is already tempting enough as it is imagine what the combination with the other specs will be, ok i know the price will be high but it would be worth it.

About high specs, well, WP8 was not ready to handle quad-cores I think that's why we hadn't seen any quad-core from WP.
If that wouldn't be the issue, then we would already had a quad-core Nokia.

By the way those specs are more impressive that the camera tech Nokia has i mean all you have to do is increase the ram and order the quadcore soc from qualcomm oh how difficult.
On a serious note android fans are ridiculous, first they say Android is customizable and then when you tell then it lags they tell you to disable all your widgets, what now? Take it with all its ups and downs or leave it!
ms will probably ditch win rt for this
which is good - wp to 7"
win8 from 8 - 12"
although 8" is too small for windows, imho
