Looks sweet! I hope it doesn't have the same feel and look as the Nokia 7373 though.
I would like one though, it does look classy! The red and silver design compliment each other well and it looks rather futuristic!
i think that i will laugh a lot when surfing the net. wahahahahahahaha!
omg!! it is insanely beautiful! moto is back. pity, the display is too small.
I noe that Moto wants a share of Nokia's high end phone. but designing a decent look and smash up the price like crazy just wont do it. i like it (and not becoz of the features), but i dont think its worth it. If se now comes with another $3k phone, i dun think i'll buy them either - except it really competes with nokia 8800 well.
Shame on u moto, what a lousy marketing scheme. o btw, nokia e90 (what i'm currently using) also has few inches worth of 16M TFT display (4 and 2 inches), and it costs way less. O well, what the hell?!
Hmmm Such a nice cell phone and motorola is my fav but they should increase their camera quality and pixels every upcoming mobile have just 2 mp moto u r too goog v admit but plz try 2 change r increase ur camera quality if not then u cant lead ........
this phone play fashion and luxury like vertu or nokia 8series
not playing feature la... come on
this also call ugly??
i bet so many people are fashion tasteless
donno what is beautiful and ugly
shame on those tasteless people so pity donno what is fashion
It's definitely innovative in the matter of display, but... it is ugly like the rest of Motorola phones, it is even ultraugly, People open your eyes, it's a freak for freaks!
oh my GOD, this has got to be one of the most hideous phone EVER !!!
Anonymous, 23 Oct 2008wow, seems like half the ppl here dun understand the concept of a fashion phone. as mentioned ... moreAfter reading the article from Mobile Review, http://www.mobile-review.com/review/motorola-motoaura-en.shtml, I do think this phone is worth US$2000.
My understanding is, for those who can afford US$2000 for a phone, spending US$2000 is like spending US$20 (if not less!) for most ordinary people.
Phones did cost around US$2000 not too long ago...in the days of the second generation DynaTAC by Moto back in around 1992, the military spec version was sold near US$2000.
Then came the MicroTAC series, which cost as much as US$4000 as I remember.
wow, seems like half the ppl here dun understand the concept of a fashion phone. as mentioned by others earlier, this phone is to lift the brand image of the company, not save it from losses. additionally, some ppl will be more than happy to buy it, and its ridiculous price is just gonna make it even more attractive among rich ppl. i guess alot of ppl still dun understand the concept of market segmenting... or think that they are the only type of consumer in the market.
Anonymous, 22 Oct 2008motorola cant stand and see how nokia is having so much success with their 8800 series, that t... moreSo what would you suggest such high-end phone should be? Another N95? What's wrong with V70's design when people paid near US$900 for a copy when it was first released? Who else makes such "turn" phone? (Only remember SE made S700?)
Anonymous, 23 Oct 2008The V70's style was in 2002... I dont know how they were able to reuse the same design and yet... moreI agree...you can't take a phone developed 6 years ago, change a few little things and sell it for 6 times the price.
Moto needs help and a lot of it!
