I had been a long time Nokia fan since the Symbian era, but let's just be frankly, it is true that Nokia has sold their soul to Microsoft, and their survival is at the mercy of their patron. Scary to say that practically, Nokia's physical body is still exist, but their soul is no longer there, it's possessed with Microsoft's all over.

And Nokia didn't invented Glove support, they used ClearPad 3 from Synaptics.
"Super Sensitive Touch(TM) built on ClearPad(TM) Series 3 enables enhanced touch support on Nokia's first Windows Phone 8 smartphones"
Samsung S4 also use ClearPad 3 (with glove support), and is the first phone with 3D touch tech.. (answering a call tough a closed S-Smart cover and Air-view)

killer droid 2.0, 19 Jul 2013Watch out WP user Microsoft is giving all your personal information to NSA!!!!Any source or link where it is said that "Microsoft is doing that"? Fail to provide and I conclude you are just being jealous right now.
bruce.w, 18 Jul 2013nokia was the first to sign up deal to use wp7,you are thinking of windows mobile...No...
Samsung, Toshiba, LG, HTC, Dell and Sharp (SonyEricsson made a Prototype, but ditched for Android) made WP7 phones before Nokia, WP7 was realeased in October 2010 (HTC made 6 devices) and Nokia came with the Lumia 800 in october 2011.
Thats why many Called the MS and Nokia partnership "der Untergang" in feb. 2011.
6 companies tried and M$ spent $400m in promotion = WP7 Failed
Watch out WP user Microsoft is giving all your personal information to NSA!!!!
As long as they make and sell good phones it's ok I guess.
Though that deal with M$ is horrible. WP is the worst thing ever.
z, 18 Jul 2013and what are exactly nokia innovations?the first capacitive screen which works with gloves, nails and normal pens(without ink if you don't want to spoil screen),the pureview camera, redesigned OIS with a much smaller size, using camera of a phone to use a tv as a big touchscreen(nokia n8 in-built app),swivel phones(like n93,n92,etc),screen with smallest response delay ever(lumia 920),first phone ever to have to have a special DSP-33 chip set
made by Toshiba and a powerful in-
built Harman Kardon amplifier, which made that phone the best music phone ever,n91(,it is still far ahead of any other phone in terms of audio clarity, even 2013 devices,10 years after its release),the most sunlight readable screen on a smartphone ever(nokia 808,even by gsmarena tests,it is far ahead of the device second on the its list),oh god i can go on,on,on, for days....

Every phone manufacture innovate in one form or the another
bruce.w, 18 Jul 2013oh,that must be wp8 and btw my response to -" I wouldnt say they were the first to adopt ... moreThey were the first to release a WP8, not the first to adopt WP.
that is like saying Samsung adopted Android first because they were the first to release Android 4.2 before HTC, But there were android 4.1 and below long before., just like there is WP7 before WP8
