AnonD-150017, 19 Jul 2013GooGle its time to move the NEXUS brand in house and you will see the rise of the once fallen ... moreso you want them to be like the vEgetable company...great..just great
Moto is a burden on google's shoulders( unless it launches some REALLY innovative)
WP is a burden on Microsoft also. The sales are not promising here. But both Google and Microsoft have other sources of revenue.
Let's wait for next week and see what happens. Lol
With profits of billions, 340+ millions must look like a small price to pay to own a potential billion dollars maker like Motorola.
I'm currently using the Motorola Razr i and I'm more than pleased with it. It's an excellent device.
I'd say though, that Intel should have promoted more the devices powered by them. I feel they have lost 10+ months of intense promotion of the actual capabilities of their Atom CPU, beyond benchmarks. That way now there would be people eager for an upgrade now with Intel rather than thinking in giving it a try. And who would build those powerful and quality built smartphones? Motorola!
I hope they release an Intel powered smartphone not in too long.

Regedit, 19 Jul 2013Expect Moto to do good while it shutdown the business in APAC regions? I dont think so.True that...
AnonD-150017, 19 Jul 2013GooGle its time to move the NEXUS brand in house and you will see the rise of the once fallen ... moreThe problem in doing that is other manufacturers will become less interested in using android & will start looking for alternatives as a majority of android sales will become Motorola phones.
But this will reduce the total profit of Google as the only major android phone manufacturer will be Motorola & thereby reducing the total number of android phone sales. And so reducing google's profit
Expect Moto to do good while it shutdown the business in APAC regions? I dont think so.
AnonD-66371, 19 Jul 2013Moto made 998 million in revenue, up from 843 million from Q2 2012. I wonder why this site did... moreAbsolutely.
And I'm looking forward to seeing their new devices next week. Hopefully they will launch globally as well as beeing properly marketed globally. A Moto X or RAZR Ultra could do very well in this market :)
AnonD-150017, 19 Jul 2013GooGle its time to move the NEXUS brand in house and you will see the rise of the once fallen ... moreIt will make other company down . Google doesn't want this. Because it will affect their add business .
Falling? microsot just made record profots, 5 billion more than Google...
Moto made 998 million in revenue, up from 843 million from Q2 2012. I wonder why this site didn't mention that. Oh yeah, they never post positive Motorola news or reviews.
Anyway, they had no new product in stores and they still managed to make the same revenues as in Q1. That's good.
And that 342 million dollar loss is related to Motorola Home's sale to Arris and to opening the X phone building facility.
