I just lend my friend with my U9 and we all said goodbye to "could you speak louder please"
Our other friends are using W910 and 6300, and I could hardly hear what they say in noisy places.

Don't tell me about Symbian is the best, as if the best can be as stable as Linux, and can start up a phone from power off as quick as Linux, I'll shut my mouth.

Moto with Symbian is just simply a nightmare! Hope Moto will NEVER release any Symbian based phone again!

Not sure this will have 3G if its a Linux OS. Only Symbian from moto have 3G. But is that the same circle wheel as the E8 for scrolling??? If so, we can expect on hell of a phone. Wifi is nice, 5MP is wonderful, Slider is nicely built, keypas is classic moto.
Overall the phone is great, just hope the price tag isnt 2000 USD :)

Anyway the cam should have had some sort of mechanical cover (IMPO).
Liking the fact that 5Mpix is the new standard. WiFi is ALWAYS welcome, 3G is somewhat welcome too but HSDPA recieves my extra appreciation.
BUT look at that processor!!!! 500Mhz??? Do Linux based phones really need that much (not saying it's bad). Also I think that 500Mhz monster will eat the battery up quite quickly if they don't ship the unit with at least a 1200mAh battery. Even with HUGE batteries like that, WiFi, HSDPA and a fairly big display, battery will get eaten fairly quick.

WTF? NO GPS? Seriously? I do hope there is because otherwise, folks like us won't splash our money on such phones. On second thought maybe we will splash out for this, all depends on how much they sell it for ;).

Samsung Techwin and Samsung Electro-Mechanic, two of the Samsung Electronic subsidiaries, have already developed 8 megapixel camera modules with 3x optical zoom.
The module has an autofocus performance improved by 57%, a 1/2.5 inch CMOS sensor and lens that support F2.85.
A Samsung Electro-Mechanic official unveiled that the first handset to come with 8 megapixel and 3x optical zoom will be released in early 2009.
Even more, Samsung manufacture is also working on a 12 megapixel camera module that will be smaller than the 8 megapixel one.

like what I've said from other comments about motorola. Its not going to be easy killing a trusted giant in the mobile world. Analyst blurt out that motorola is dying slowly... the old giant is just taking its time rather than releasing soo many models like SE and end up canceling the production due to poor market response. Motorola VE66 and Q11 is testament that Motorola means business to a profitable market segment.

I never actually liked Motorola, I had one but I wasn't very sattisfied, except with the camera, which was VGA but very good...
so this phone shouldn't be bad
but no matter what my favourite brand is still Sony Ericsson

We did not see there first 5 mega-pixel camera mobile in the U.K the Z model so will we get this model released in the u.k or not as Motorola as lost of it fans nowdays because we do not see many of there top mobiles in the u.k at all

Looks like it's going to be a great phone. 3G, 5mp camera, WiFi and one wicked fast processor! Thank you Motorola!!! I hope Motorola makes a comeback next year.
