Well, the price is obviously an early release/adapter price. I doubt if it will remain like that for long. If you are patient enough to wait for another few months, it will definitely drop.
I am waiting to get this phone, but I have decided to wait till maybe February/March to get this.

Simply unsustainable at those prices. A far lower price would have secured this device massive sales across a wide range of users. As it stands it cannot justify its price premium over the HTC Pro. Sadly the SE C905 may also suffer low sales by being slightly too expensive. A shame as these products do have appeal.

I'm waiting for this phone more than a year it was fascinating in the barcelona but meanwhile all the bigest company like htc nokia samsung made a better phones the bigest contester of x1 touch pro is far away in specification and usability from x1.Now the x1 doesn't expres me much because it should have to be on the market long time ago.Sony ericsson made a big mistake with it.630 euro really expensive for this phone.

The phone is outdated and its way to expensive.
Its Bulky.. and the black buttons next to the screan are Hidious....
SE missed the boat to succes again and they are ditroing theyr raft with the price....
$800 ill buy a laptop.. or some other better ut to date phone like the HTC touch HD

Damn too expensive for this time ...could have accepted this hefty price tag if it was released in Q1 of 2008. or wait til the price comes down ..but again the specification will be outdated

If it is 630 Euros it is too expensive for anybosy. U get Nokia E71 at half the price. The only diff is probably is Touch Screen

Really too expensive. Can buy a reputable laptop.
Not competively priced and definetly at the wrong time (Financial-wise).
Sony Ericson needs to review their timeline and product stretegy.

Xperia is Xpensive! The SE flagship has been long overdue and what do the fans get? ... an outdated unit. SE followed Nokia with its N96. Both great companies are headed the wrong way...very wrong.
