AnonD-172421, 05 Aug 2013A reasonable price for a smartphone made by non-slaves chinese employees. I'll pay this price ... moreu must belong to Steve Job's family to say that...oh wait, iPhones are built and assembled in China..
Guys, dont blame the high price on "made in USA" tag. It is NOT made in USA. The parts are imported from Taiwan and China. It is assembled in USA.
For Example- Mercedes Benz parts are brought from Germany and Assembled in Noida/Gurgaon in New Delhi NCR,India . This doesnt make the car MADE it INDIA.
If you want to blame the high price on something, blame it on Motorola. They think the Google affiliation will ring the cash registers. The are probably banking on their new 10mpx camera but GSMArena says its as good as other mid rangers.
A reasonable price for a smartphone made by non-slaves chinese employees. I'll pay this price for sure!
Lol what a joke price! I hope to god the nexus 5 doesn't follow this silly pricing!
This reminds me of what Microsoft did with the Xbox One and look where that ended up - American companies are seriously messed up when it comes to launching new products...
You owned Motorola, google. Why not just put 4.3 on your Moto x. Putting in some last years CPU some more. Last years processor with those kind of price. Now I know y china make so many clones. Per capita rates. Lol, making more inflation. I dont know who owns Qualcomm snapdragon, maybe they are part of the Moto x inflation. Lol

hahahaha 575$ WTF 2200mah battery LOL i would rather have the driod max slimer with 3500mah baterry and same features
Anonymous, 02 Aug 2013I didn't expect Motorola or Google owned Motorola to charge $629 for the 32 GB version. I like... moreWhat bothers me the most his how it's not being shipped with the 4.3 firmware. the latest update made some significant improvement in performance that this phone will surely need & may not get for months knowing how slow the carriers are to offer updates.
Wow, in my opinion Motorola has a total fail on their hands. The carrier free pricing is outrageous, the hardware makes this a last years mid-level phone when Motorola said it would be a ground breaking phone. Maybe their PR department made a mistake & meant Bank Account breaking. Finally, being released without the 4.3 firmware knowing full well how slow the carriers are to offer updates is disgraceful. Thank god that we have the Nexus line pricing for those of us who value their disposable income.
honestly, this "moto x" is doomed to failure. A processor S4 Pro only two cores, less than 800 Snapdragon 2.3 GHz and 4 cores, and with a considerably higher price. It's crazy to buy one of these moto x just because you can choose the colors, there is not much there. I mean we are just colors! If it was an option to choose the processor, screen size and resolution, along with the option to choose the colors. Then it would be more interesting.
want to know about economies smartphone ? andromax u , that is rare
I laughed out loud when I heard the (i) price, (ii) it was only on contract and (iii) only in North America.
