How about connecting directly to a portable hard disk? How about putting 30GB worth of music onto a micro SD card? Wifi Direct transfers from another device? Cloud syncing? No?

Then in another 2 months the cycle repeats.
The iPhone 3GS updates to the latest OS. It won't update to ios 7, but the fact that it updates to the latest this year means you can get a few more years out of it. That's not bad for a phone released in 2009.
The S4 is already a no buy. It has half the memory gone by bloat and there are like 4 S4 versions that came out and next month the Note 3 will come out which will make the S4 obsolete.

I was able to plug it into any computer and copy and paste whatever I wanted wherever I wanted. Either in the phone or the SD card.
My first iphone was the iPhone 4. I put a check in "sync all music". I clicked "sync" and in my music went.
As far as files again, plug it in (as you would do any phone) But instead of going to My Computer as I used to I just open iTunes and save the office files or PDF files or whatever I have in the phone and save it in my computer.
I really don't see how that's any more difficult.
Doesn't bother me. If it did I would've bought something else.
Actually, I think that soon I will change the iPhone and go Android, but it's certainly not because of iTunes. I hardly ever use iTunes unless I want to change the music in here.

A computer right?
How's that more difficult than plugging it into the same computer and clicking "Sync"?

Tell me. How do you put all your music in an Android phone without a computer?
And how do you know I'm an Apple Purist? What the hell does that mean?

Lack of innovation?????
Their products are REVOLUTIONARY!!!!!
Apple is going down
People finally understood that they are wasting money on a shitty product....
"We considered the latter an already dead piece of technology" - well, look at how IR ports made a comeback. Good tech is good tech, I have no idea why some companies just decide to drop perfectly functioning , useful features.

Do you build phone the same way you make plastic bags??
The answer is NO.
As you would deny Samsung plastic phones are bad, same as you cannot deny aluminium is lousy.
I didn't know cheap 20 cent china made aluminum on the iphone 5 was premium, it bends easy and you can buy the oem housing for $6, it takes them next to nothing to produce.
Anonymous, 12 Aug 2013It it weren't for apple we'd all still be using "smartphones" like the stylus contro... morecorrect my friend. I agree. Android fanboys think Larger screen, Larger Megapixel Camera , Bigger RAM,and 2.+ gHz processor are innovation for them. Thats not innovation, its market strategy to attract customers. now a days its a Megapixel War, if more MP added, fanboys thinks thats an innovation. Innovation lies in adding a brand new stuff to a new model, not just increasing the size. samsung has innovated in its Air Gesture, Pop UP, and its stylus. the same copied onto s4 and fanboys think its an innovation in its Galaxy series!!!
Oncom, 12 Aug 2013Never call Apple as inventor. Apple can only take advantage of what already exists. Big liar.Seems like you didn't know their history. Look it up.
I'm not sure you know what innovative means. It means to create advance ideas or methods, over existing ideas.
Creative is different. To create something out of nothing.
I've been waiting to buy a new phone and I was wanting to go with the new iPhone, but the big feature I wanted on my wishlist for the new iPhone was a bigger screen of atleast 4.5"-4.7". It's ridiculous that in 2013 Apple are still so stubborn to not want to release a bigger screen when all other big manufacturers have, just shows how far back Apple has fallen. I will be heavily considering the Sony Honami now.
