Anonymous, 12 Aug 2013Epic event looking forward to new products. Android probably most worried about the iPhone 5C.haha :) Why would we Android fans be worried? Apple sucks. Read the reviews of iPhone 4 & 4s which updated their phones to iOS 6.3.1 and their wifi doesn't work any more. Come on guys, Android has much more to offer.
Oh wait, the guy who made innovative (probably stole a lot of ideas) is not alive any more (Steve Jobs). You guys be happy in your own bubble of happiness and joy that we're shaking in our boots :)
Anonymous, 12 Aug 2013yeah i do. i think it was back in 2011Cant find any info on what happened to them unless its for curved Glass on the watch thing they are supposed to be bringing out.
Anyone else not really excited by new smartphone releases anymore or just me.I am waiting to see what Apple does but it looks like upgraded 5 how boring. Also looks like the next 4000 phones are all going to look exactly the same,a screen.:-((

AnonD-49280, 12 Aug 2013Me and millions of other people across the world with less than perfect eyesight need 5in scre... moreEveryone got by in the past tho didn't they with smallscreens? we did web browsing games the lot..We just get used to the big screen if we had to go back to 2.8 inch screens with T9 input we would adjust.I hear all the time that bigger screen for more accuracy in typing, get a proper hardware keyboard solves that..It was steve jobs who destroyed the hardware keypad which I hate him for because he also stifled design,,all we have now is just a screen monoblock slab boring design...
In the past we had proper hardware keys to press accurately and dpad for precision and the screen was the screen no silly pop up keyboard..Most want bigger screens for bigger keyboard when a real hardware qwerty beats touchscreen anytime. On train home in past I used to do basic Excel spreadsheets on my Nokia E75 using slide out qwerty and using dpad to jump accurately between the cells with no mistakes or onscreen keyboard taking up half the screen..I would then email it ready for useon comp..Since the full touchscreen arrived I have never bothered ..

It will be interesting to see what Apple has prepared for us. Maybe it's something revolutionary. Maybe not. We just have to wait and see. Competition is always good.

AnonD-93854, 12 Aug 2013Apple please no any tacky pressing button anymore.. No way I am trying to bring back buttons hate tapping at a silly piece of glass..When I hang up I want to press a solid button not have to tap,,when I get in a bad mood I end up pressing the screen hard which does not work on capacitive screen. You have to take your finger off the screen everytime and tap like a big girl,,us men want a solid button to depress..
AAArrggghhh hate all this girly swiping and tapping its not the way I like to input data. Also you get grease on the screen and lose half your realscreen estate anyway to keyboard..How you lot play games on bad precision capacitive touchscreens is beyond me you need proper precision D-Pad and real buttons.
Does anyone remember a while back Apple buying all the special glass cutting machines?
Apple please no any tacky pressing button anymore..

Carlos, 12 Aug 2013No. It's not me it's YOU. Notice how you chose to compare the iPad Mini with a 7" tab... moreYup, Apple needed to.
apple is going to die if they will launch cheap phones. As now buyers will get confused which one to buy, also their cheap phones are not that cheap - as they will come up with small screen, less features.
Carlos, 12 Aug 2013With Skecthbook Pro and any of the many professional pressure sensitive pens for tablets out t... moreI can do that too with capacitive input. We both then agree skill than the tool is really what makes the art. I like the Wacom digitizer offering more tool ranges than a capacitive input. It works great with the Sketchbook Ink for caricatures.

And with the latest chrome update... it broke the touch of note 8.
iPad mini = Young man.. response is smooth and fast.
I have used both, and i still prefer iPad mini. Quad core is a non-issue, so is the spen.
TheNeighbor, 12 Aug 2013Whatever makes you sleep at night, dude. No. It's not me it's YOU.
Notice how you chose to compare the iPad Mini with a 7" tablet instead of an 8" tablet. Just to suit your fandroid ego.
Truth is, a 7" Tab is MILES smaller than an iPad Mini. It's small, narrow and long and the tablet isn't nowhere near as nice as an iPad Mini.
The other thing is, you are describing typical Steve Jobs. He could hate something today and if you made a good case he would do a complete 180 and love it tomorrow.
That's a sign of intelligence. He never thought he was always right. If you could prove him wrong then he would say, OK. I was wrong. Make a 7.9" tablet.
There's nothing wrong with changing your mind.

Excell... moreWith Skecthbook Pro and any of the many professional pressure sensitive pens for tablets out there, I can sketch anything as good in an ipad Mini as anything you can sketch on a Note 8.0.
The SPen really is a non issue.
Carlos, 12 Aug 2013Now you're just trolling. Get a Tab 7.0" and put it next to an iPad Mini. At 7.9"... moreWhatever makes you sleep at night, dude.
