Anonymous, 21 Aug 2013The N900 will always have a place in my heart. My favourite phone ever.Fair enough...it's a good phone, but that does'nt make n9 "crap"...
AnonD-93854, 21 Aug 2013Who cares if that phone or that phone is faster .. it is still limited by android..If you wanna talk about limitations think of iOS. Then come WP and BB OS. Then Android. Then maybe Ubuntu or Firefos OS.
Android is among the less limited ecosystems out there. Root and overclock if you want more speed. Underclock if you want longer lasting battery. The limits are only set by hardware.

Anonymous, 21 Aug 2013I had asked earlier about smooth operating UI's...because you folks seem to be pretty knowledg... moreYes,sony has the smoothest ui among same spec phones of samsung,lg and sony...i don't know about htc,i've never used one :-p
..., 21 Aug 2013nokias phones are always late to party, nokia didnt even make 1st symbian phone and nokia didnt... moreLOL!!desperate hater!!! Besides all your facts are incorrect or invalid...the first smartphone in true sense was made by bellsouth and first internationaly available smartphone was by nokia...ericsson made the first symbian phone but nokia was also the owner of symbian then and was developing a usable instead of hurrying up to end up making a pathetic phone like ericsson r380....and the first touchscreen phone was made by ibm bell south....and btw the best phone and the best specced phone are not same,,n9 was awarded many phone of the year awards like the swedish award.... NO nokia n9 looked nothing like aino, here is n9-
It is just a lie clearly, started by the haters...and nokia NEVER SAID it will release an emulator ever in any way, that is the most funny lie i've heard, meego was partly maemo 6 so saying it was unfinished or unproved is again a lie.......nokia may be performing terribly now but saying that it is the only one or the most copying oem is something which hardly anyone would agree upon...
I had asked earlier about smooth operating UI's...because you folks seem to be pretty knowledgable in these matters. Reason why is because my wife and I stopped by a V store earlier this week and found motorola's maxx proprietary Android OS (previous years model btw) suprisingly nimble and responsive... kinda the opposite of what I generally hear about this brand on various forums. I was wondering if it would eventually become a laggy sloppy slob like my current samsung galaxy or if it would be able to roll with the punches like a champ, hence why the question about responsiveness lasting beyond a device's "honeymoon" period (usually lasting the initial first year) before mandatory updates create an unresponsive device. I'm posting here because I am seriously considering the honami Z1 btw, so my question technically does apply to the topic. I also could care less if my device has 18 cores or 4gb of ram...I just want it to be a consistently capable smooth operator. Iphone is not an option, I prefer Android OS. Is Sony's proprietary UI superior to others with similar specs somehow? If this Sony device is worth the wait, i'd like to know why from knowledgable folks like yourselves. Thx all.
