Andrew Tan, 21 Aug 2013Tizen will be just another Bada. FAIL...Perhaps, perhaps not.
It's a new fresh wind and the only mobile OS that I can think of beside Android.
Well, there's another too.The Firefox OS seems to be something special.
IOS and Winphone is not my cup of tea. Had enough of limited OS:es and ugly User Interfaces with an old SonyEricsson G900 running UIQ (A Symbian based OS).
Anonymous, 21 Aug 2013i get that but why did he put u tube? lazy?no ...yOtube...y0 what's up
Nokia should be quite depressed because his main competitor (in old times) took at that time a strategic OS.
droopy, 21 Aug 2013Why samsung insist with this ZERO SALES mobile os called Tizen. Tizen do not have eco-system, ... moreAre you saying Tizen has failed because its not sold anything yet? If so then thats a stupid comment since its not released yet....
Anonymous, 21 Aug 2013Tizen is able to run android apps so it could way much better than androod itself.Lol. Android apps will run on Tizen OS but with some restrictions or many. Android apps needs to be ported to Tizen SDK to comply and work without restrictions on Tizen OS. Android apps will run better on Tizen Android itself? Lol. Android apps are created for Android phones, and not Tizen OS. The UI in Android and Tizen are different and due to this Android apps will run on Tizen with restrictions like the app will hang or you can't get out of the app. Have your ever seen a PS3 game run on a PC as smooth as it runs on a PS3 if the game isn't ported to work with PC? No, they do work with emulators but with a lot of restricrions like this not working that not working. So, Android apps needs to be ported to Tizen OS to work properly and it depends on devlopers whether they would like to port it or not. So, Android apps runs better on Android OS than it will in any other OS if not ported.
droopy, 21 Aug 2013Why samsung insist with this ZERO SALES mobile os called Tizen. Tizen do not have eco-system, ... moreWho cares about ecosystem? Sounds to me like your believing all the marketing shit companies want you to believe. If its a decent price and does what it says it will it should sell
Why samsung insist with this ZERO SALES mobile os called Tizen. Tizen do not have eco-system, and moreover it is HORRIBLE, i test a developer phone and really was the worst experience ever. Better buy an android.

Marty H, 21 Aug 2013We will do what we are told to do. If Samsung would like us to support Tizen we will. Unti... moreHere's a perfect example of a paid Samsung troll- Marty H. Look, i have had the Samsung Galaxy S4(octa core), first of all it is not a true octa core processor, it is just two quad core processor. The low power A7 comes to work when using small, not-so-hardcore things, exact opposite with A15. The processor cheats. It clocks higher when performing benchmarks. Lol. Lag has been a lie? Not true. TouchWiz is a buggy and heavy UI due to which it lags in basic applications such as contacts, dialer, camera app and many other. I have used many other Samsung Galaxy phones and found a common thing in them all and that is lags. You're in every post where someone says that lags are prominent on Samsung devices which is true. Even the GSMArena review of Samsung Galaxy S4 Octa core variant says it lags. By the way, you're doing quite a good job. Samsung will pay you heavily if you keep on doing your job- trolling and lying on behalf of Samsung.
Bada was a rip off of Symbian OS with just different icons and unfortunately, Samsung betrayed the users of that OS. Now, i have seen Tizen OS being demoed on YouTube, it's a rip off of Android OS which too will probably die after a year or two. One thing i would like to advice you all, please don't buy a Tizen based device as it comes, maybe because of less adoption of the OS, less devs will be interested to create apps for it and you'll end up not having your favorite app on the OS. Better wait, if the OS success then buy if you want to or move on to a better OS, say Sailfish OS.
We will do what we are told to do.
If Samsung would like us to support Tizen we will.
Until then we like Android with the TouchWhiz.
8 cores have shown WP users Lag has always been a lie.
