I don't like the design, it looks cheapo but the features are good( I prefer features over design), it's a good idea the implementation of WLAN but anyway I won't look for this as a replacement for my smartphone

SE + Nokia Fan, 05 Nov 2008Wooow!! Really?!?! Your 2 yr old kid can design better than this?!?! What don't you put him/... moreA very nice shape, but why has it not come in other colour than red? what a childish colour
already knew that =p
but if it has wifi I'm not sure.
this red color is horrible >
another re-badge jack-up price by sonyericsson.
they are falling just like moto. *yawn*
why dont you people look at g705 and than say if design is the same or not. Its totally a different design. watch them first!!!!!!
Design is ok. Seems like a mix of t650 with w880 in a slider form. Bad news is that add nothing new to SE portfolio
Worst designed phone yet? I'd say so...
Design is OK for the G705, but it looks waaaaayy too conservative for the W-series. Walkman phones are meant to be fun and fresh, but this just looks plastic and ugly. The eyesore colour doesn't help either. This is probably, in my view, SE's worst designed phone so far.
Mudvayne, 05 Nov 2008Yeuch!!!!! Onw of the most HORRIFIC designs i've ever seen. My two year old kid can do better.Wooow!! Really?!?!
Your 2 yr old kid can design better than this?!?!
What don't you put him/her to work and retire early then...?!
Talk is CHEAP, buddy!
i dont understand y sony is coming up with same design again n again...
i use to use sony but now shifted to nokia...
nokia has so many designs now....their e series is just awesome...i should say classy...
no doubt x1 is an awesome phone but the price is so high...
The price of this device will determine its success. However, the similarity of this device to the G705 proves the point that there is now no real need for creating different product lines in SE's portfolio. SE's current CyberShot mobile devices do incorporate good music player interfaces and the Walkman players incorporate reasonable camera module. Designing and offering very high-quality all rounder devices would prove very successful for SE as opposed to attempting to demarcate them into being a music or a videophoto offering. The excellent K800i appears to have been SE's last all-rounder before it embarked on separating their product lines. Perhaps they may decide to return to that scenario.
once W sets had megabass and walkman player for speciality.
but now all latest SE phones have same kinds of feature.
and i'm sure g705 can be converted to w705.
so maybe days of WALKMAN are over.
Anonymous, 05 Nov 2008does it matter? its still a walkman with no 3.5mm jack!!Exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeuch!!!!! Onw of the most HORRIFIC designs i've ever seen. My two year old kid can do better.
