how fast things move. 2 or 3 years ago you couldn't take a flight from frankfurt to london without seeing all the business guys using their BB. today nobody is using a BB on the same flight.
i was realy confident that BB would make it with the Z10 and the Q10. but i guess that they are dead.
watch out apple and samsung. this business is realy fast moving. siemens are not into it anymore, nokia is struggling and BB very close to the edge. all three used to be something - not that long time ago.
good phone but a ridiculous price.
i have an iphone 5 but i use my old bb for texting. it's easier to type with a physical keyboard. the problem with bb is the pricing.

Blackberry totally miss it. They don't want to price their product competitively. Or maybe they are too proud.
I think their keyboard phones are one of the main selling points of the blackberry. most people buy a blackberry because of it and i am going to get a q10 when it's a bit cheaper. of course i will buy it from ebay because blackberries on ebay are nice n cheap like
i do premium tech support in Canada. I get more people regretting buying a BB OS10 device then any other phone. When the Z10 came out and was lacking things like full outlook support and 30% of the other promises BB made it really cooled the buzz for blackberry. They should have released them at the same time with all the promised features. Even with the 2 way sync, the OS 10 platform is not as functional for business, their main demographic as tweeners have moved to android or iOS
PC, 30 Aug 2013Although I love the Z10 I still sometimes miss the physical keyboard when typing lots of email... moreYou are so right,
Nobody was going to buy this for MORE than the Z10.It was a ridiculous pricing strategy and here are the results.
The q10 is an amazing product of Blackberry
It has an astonishing performance and nice design, nice emailing service and clear front and back camera.
The problem is with black berry itself.
I tell you why...
Simply the operating system they should adobt android as a second os or otherwise they are in the process of hurrying themselves
Dear blackberry please wake up you are not a market leader as used to be we are in 2013
Laugh out loud
So wall street journal say they asked American and Canada retailers what about the rest of the world lol so how is it a failure, Mmmmm in Russia ifone has been dropped by all three major networks but what a surprise no mention of it on gsm arena, and ifone sales are dropping in Europe, but no mention of this either
AnonD-56298, 30 Aug 2013If the price of the device is drop off and BBM is made to work on wifi , It would be definitel... moreBbm does work on wifi lol you been caught out your prob not a blackberry user lol, I love my q10 if price drops even better I will buy another one then when this one paks in I've got a spare new one, that's me more or less sorted for next 6 years cos way phones are going they are getting bigger than the 1980s 30 years ago
Well price is the key, and this phone is way to expensive.
If the price of the device is drop off and BBM is made to work on wifi , It would be definitely successful.
Greed is fail.
lol
BB is sinking, like a cast iron turd shot out of a cannon into the ocean. Jus' sayin'.
Everything is alright with the product itself, but the pricing is sick!!
Rajesh pmr, 30 Aug 2013What blackberry needs to rethink is their pricing !!!Yeah I agree that BlackBerry should evaluate their pricing policy. High price low sales can be mitigated by affordable price but higher demand. Unless BB is targeting the elite buyers or trying to create a "snob effect" demand for their phones.
