So this is what happens when Samsung tries to come up with something on their own. They should have waited until next year. That way they could copy a better company's design and approach.

No one wants smartwatches. This was trick made by Wall Street and the menial media , to create "new product line".
I don't know how true is this rumor and pictures. Besides even in the rumors was "Gear", - not "Watch"
It could be only training gear, and iMedia push you in "watch" trap.
AnonD-114473, 01 Sep 2013by someone else you mean, you? so you think that phone.. i mean that watch is great?yes it is great and good , we are living in 2013 not 1985 , apple is about to drop their phone watch and if i like it i'll buy it . this will not be my first samsung phone watch
There is one thing curious to note. The sample the person has on hand does not in anyway match or look like the cross-sectional diagrams filed in the US and Korean patents. Maybe this isn't the real deal?

This is just a prototype. The final product will be awesome! Go Sammy!! Show them how it's done!
Copy that Sony and Apple!!!
Having used a SE MBW-150 I know the benefits of the info available on the wrist. This looks like a skinny wrist to show it off on, though. The camera looks like it's made for industrial espionage of the 1980s. The best effort so far was the MotoACTV, even if it failed that one crucial feature - vibrating alert.
This was Samsung's chance to prove it could innovate on its own and reinvent a product category, rather than copy market trends. It looks like they blew it - nobody is gonna wear that thing!
