Here are the things that will forever stay with Android:
1. Android OS is resource hungry, so it will keep on draining battery.
2. Google will keep on spying your private data which are stored in your Android phone.
3. The core of Android is buggy and apps are created in Java VM which is buggy and Java is laggy even on PC, so the OS will forever lag no matter what.
4. There will always will be a plethora of junk applications, malwares, spywares and adwares in Google play store unless Google reviews each and every applications manually.
Have a nice day.
Currently owing Samsung Galaxy Y and Nexus 4. Will move to a new OS this year.

RAZ, 03 Sep 2013yaar... for android 4.6 they gonna give name as LOLLIPOP...And 4.8 will probably be called Marshmellow
Anonymous, 03 Sep 2013Damn you Google/Android now im fat..... is your fat lagging?
Kitkat.. The name tells it all. One thing that will forever be there in Android OS is lag, it's a feature of the OS and as applications are created in JVM which itself is buggy. Java is laggy even on PC. Not to forget that in Kitkat, there will be no major changes and better spy equipped for Google which will make it easier for Google to spy on you. I won't buy another Android device ever because of the resources hungry nature and not even smooth user experience of the OS and no true multitasking and all Google does it spy on the users and allow NSA officials to collect your personal data from your Android device. Say "No" to Android. Stop the private data exploring by Google.
since Google is ditching android for chrome OS, there is a possibility that Android 5.0 will never be released
